I got a lifetime premium account before they stopped offering those several years ago. So I hope it doesn't go downhill anytime soon. If it does ever, what could replace it? Moddb?

Postal 2 is a guilty pleasure that I feel really terrible for playing when I do, but I use it to blow off steam when I'm upset so I'm looking forward to this. Mostly because it won't crash every few minutes unlike the original.

I don't want them to do Silent Hill 3. I'm afraid they will censor it to hell (no pun intended) due to the subject matter. Silent Hill 3 is my favorite, followed by 4. I'm actually not super into the 2nd one like everyone is. Silent Hill 1 deserved a remake more than any of them though, due to how dated it was. Though I'm worried it will lose that oppressivly heavy and dark setting and graphics.

Good. Better than EA/Codemasters at least.Completely disagree. The previous WRC games were crap that came across as budget titles. It's sad that they are apparently the only ones who would take the license.
Hopefully they don't switch to Unreal Engine and keep using their own engine for next WRC Game.
Its 2027 and onwards though. What happens with 2026 season then i wonder. Can Nacon update their Generations game to include 2026 season as DLC for example or something...

It's a shame there won't be another EA WRC game. It had been the best one in a long time. Guess EA wants Codemasters to make F1 games only from now on. I still hate that EA bought them.
Search engines are getting worse, so OpenWebSearch funded by the European Union want to fix it

So yes, clearly it can happen because it is happening. Although not from government, except probably in China. And not to suppress the right--to the contrary, all the social media and search algorithms seem to systematically promote right wing viewpoints, particularly the far right because their stridency promotes "engagement" (and in one certain case, because the owner is a fascist).Well, at least I have the comfort of knowing that the far-right will speed up the extinction of the human race with their climate change denial so that they'll destroy themselves and not get to rule things for too terribly long.
Meanwhile, if this EU initiative does things that bias the results returned by search engines that use it, in a way that's unacceptable to search engine companies' right wing CEOs, then I guess they won't use it. So I don't think you need to worry too much about right wing viewpoints ceasing to have a massive advantage.

I can never imagine in a million years losing my cellphone or having it be stolen. I've been using cell phones since the very early 2000s when all they could do was play that snake game. It's never, ever happened once to me in all that time. I'm too protective of it to ever have that happen.

I hope this will be fun for people who like this sort of thing, but it's a bit too close to home for me as I live in an area prone to wildfires.
