Thank god, I really want to play through PoE2 before this game and I expect I won´t be done with that until early september or thereabout. Then there´s my list of other titles I find very tempting, that *might* be released before september 25:th :
Battletech
LiS: Before the Storm
State of Mind
Insomnia: The Ark
Depth of Extinction
Synstasis
Bard´s Tale IV
Underworld Ascendant
Imperator: Rome
This game tops my list but this autumn it looks like a real deluge of interesting games are on the way to linux. It´s gonna be a pleasant challenge choosing what to play first and finding the time for all this gaming.

Quoting: bekoThat intro totally reminded me of JourneyQuest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_uNpAq2p9w&list=PLYr8WAAV5TCW4ku2KhSxqQ1_IInmyvWfH [External Link] :)You´re right, it is rather similar. I´ve actually never watched "JourneyQuest" before, it seems kind of fun. :)
Futuristic thriller 'State of Mind' has a new story trailer and releasing a day earlier than expected

Bought it! The game seems very promising and day1 linux-support is juat another reason to give my own support. However, my backlog has really started to grow lately so I doubt I´ll be playing it anytime soon.
What are you playing this weekend and what do you think about it?

Nothing. It´s just *too-bloody-warm* for gaming, I had hoped that by now I would at least have played through PoE2 but I´ve only played it for about 15 hours since it was released. Looking at the weather forecast there is no gaming in sight for my foreseeable future. :'(:(
Valve seem to be tightening their rules on games with sexual content

This is pretty sad. I certainly hope that it´s a mistake that will be corrected in time. Otherwise, I too will be tempted to migrate away from steam as much as is feasible, given their massive dominance.
Ironically, it is a decision of theirs that don´t really impact me in any way whatsoever, since I don´t think I own a single sexually explicit game on steam, but nevertheless a decision that I find ethically abhorrent to the point where I want to minimize my support.

Very nice! This was actually one of the very few adventure-series from Sierra & Lucasarts that passed me by, back in the day. So I didn´t play it until I bought the modern remake of the first game in the series and found it quite entertaining, I guess this title will be my next adventure game of the series.

I had no idea any streaming service had picked em up yet. I can even see them for free with the 7 day membership, I think at least one of the titles they have is something that I never saw back in the day.
Now the only question is whether to dive right in or save them for some suitable summer-days. :S:

Quoting: TheSHEEEPTHANKS!<3Quoting: FeistNot a big fan of this type of game but I bought it anyway. I used to love their movies when I was a kid and if Netflix bought the rights, then I would stock up on tons of Beer, beans and hotdogs and have myself a whole weekend movie-marathon. :DThey are available on Amazon Prime. At least on the German one (no idea about the other, but I guess there, too as Amazon is quite international).
I even got myself a VPN to watch it from my location.

This will be great!! Although, my first playthrough was kind of a let down, it took less than 20 minutes to bring me to the end credits, all because I didn´t want to sign up to be the personal errand boy of some alleged godess. :'(

I feel pretty excited by this, even more so after all the positive reviews that it has recieved. The idea of playing a turn-based mech-game has really grown on me, even though I´ve had almost no prior contact with "mechs" in games or movies.
Still, I admit that I do feel just a tad annoyed that they could do a simultaneous release of both win & mac versions but not tux. If it had been a windows only release, it wouldn´t have produced quite the same feeling of "The OS Left Behind". :'(

Nice! I had quite some trouble with repeated crashing on 396. However, when I switched to 390 those issues went away and I couldn´t notice any obvious change to performance or graphics, so I think I´ll just stick with that driver for now. "If it ain´t broken..." and all that.
