A shame, if this is correct. While I would be satisfied with the standard edition of "DI" for linux I was hoping that these new editions would bring "DI-Riptide" to linux.
Imo. a very enjoyable game, quite a bit more entertaining than the original DI, just as Dying Light was more entertaining than both of them.

Bought!
The demo was really interesting and seemed to hold a lot of promise for a great game, it was also quite amazing how it brought down the prize to such a low level.

Well the great majority of my wishlist is composed of "windows-only" titles and of the linux-titles, most that I actually desire are games that are not yet released or not yet ported.
So that leaves me with a bunch of "maybe" titles that I don't have much real desire for but may be willing to give a try if the price is right:
Sword Coast Legends
After Reset RPG
Renowned Explorers: International Society
The Detail
Sheltered
Savage Lands
ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery)
Broforce
Layers of Fear
Dungeon Rushers
...are a few examples.

Imo. this was a pretty decent "point & click" adventure. It had an interesting and fairly original story that took place in many locations all over the world (one that I would have loved to see a sequel to). Some good characters and dialogue, nice graphics and some interesting puzzles as well.
On the less positive front, the level of difficulty was rather low/mediochre (a somewhat disturbing trend in many modern adventure games) also the main character was somewhat difficult to like, being a rather odd "savant/genius" of sorts (if you imagine Sheldon Cooper from the tv-series "The Big Bang Theory", only without any attempt to make him appear funny/comical, then you have an idea).
Although other JJ-games such as "Gabriel Knight" or "Gray Matter" are better than this one, I still felt that this was definitly worth my money and (like mentioned above) the ending left lots of room to build a sequel or even an entire series on. So...if it´s not too expensive and you enjoy classical adventures then I´d reccommend it.

Nice! The first game was far better than I had expected and this looks like a *Must Have!* title as well. I certainly hope this also means that "Hard Reset Redux" will show up on Linux as well.
"Hard Reset Redux, is now in the works. It's being built on the latest version of the Roadhog engine (which is also being used for Shadow Warrior 2) and will include all of the content in the original Hard Reset as well as the Exile expansion. The overhauled edition will feature improved graphics, new enemy variants, and changes to pacing and balance"

Love the game! It's frustrating as well as incredibly atmospheric.
To be honest, after having played the beta for 49 hours now, I'm not sure if I'll be able to endure it to the end credits. It's just that tough to spend several hours building up a "dream team" of adventurers, train them to the max, equip them with the best gear my hard earned gold can buy...only to have them all obliterated when the dungeon boss pulls an ace out of the sleeve.
Still, an amazingly addictive game and the only bug I have come across is that the "mini-map" you use for navigating the dungeon will sometimes fail to show up when I start a new dungeon. Easily fixed though, just pop back out to the main menu and then back again and the map will almost always appear (otherwise try again).

I played through the original game and was quite impressed by it. It felt a little bit "low budget" but at the same time it was really fascinating and interesting.
Lol, after playing through it, I described the plotline as : "-The main character you play, is an alien consciousness transferred through a digital rift, into an unknown individuals body that serves as a crewmember in a futuristic flying-ship, in an alternate dimension. After that...you're on your own."
If the sequel comes to Linux, then it's a must buy for me.

Kona, a good looking first person adventure game now in Early Access, some thoughts

I bought this on sale last week, it looked fairly interesting; like a more gameplay-oriented version of "Firewatch", so I thought it was worth a chance. However, like you say an adventure game with lots of story in it, is not really the ideal thing to play in early access.
Still, I'm feeling optimistic about this title.

Oh yeah, this looks awesome. Reminds me a lot of both "Alien: Isolation" and "SOMA", if only it has less stressful exploration than the former and longer playing time than the latter, then there's no limit to how good it might get.
