was not Max "superpower" in itself, but rather that everyone suddenly decided that it was a "Karma Power", and that saving one persons life would apparently cause an inevitable/unavoidable weather-phenomenon, that would wipe out an entire town of people as some sort of "karma-retaliation", kind of like a different version of the "Final Destination"-series of movies where Death hunts everyone that survives an accident

Loved the environments and the intentional "Twin Peaks" feel, of the small american town where it takes place, it also has some interesting characters (some find them "compelling & engaging" others find them "corny").
As for the story, I think it started out very interesting but it became weaker towards the end. The whole thing took a bit of a philosophical turn, that I found to be rather weakly plotted and ill considered. The gameplay itself was rather standard fare, not complex like the more classical adventure titles but not quite as ultra-simplistic as the Telltale games.
All in all, even though I was unhappy with how the story evolved in the later chapters, I thought it was a very well made game and definitely worth playing.

Bloody annoying, I am really looking forward to playing this again. Guess there's nothing to do but wait, the whole "buy the PC version now..." bit, was quite an unintentional slap in the face.
Quoting: subOh boy, how I love that game.Well, at least I think you had the option of switching back and forth between classic & "modern" look, in the same style as the Monkey Island remakes. (2 more titles that *really* should be ported over)
However, that remastered version does not appeal to me.
IMHO it looks ugly compared to the original version.

After XCOM2, I played through "Batman: Arkham Knight"...on windows. Disappointing, since I had held off on playing, waiting for the Linux version to be announced. Still, I felt this was actually the weakest game in the series as far as story & interesting villain antics were concerned. So...maybe not such a big loss for Linux after all.
Right now I'm playing "Dying Light: The Following". THIS, is how a dlc/expansion should be made, tons of quests, huge area to move around and a fairly decent main-story to boot.

This is an insta-buy for me! It swept right up my steam-wishlist of 90+ titles, to take 3:rd position.
Personally, I'm hoping for either RT or more RTwP combat, since there are already so many turn-based linux titles out there. Not that I'd mind an Obsidian game with tb-combat, but I do like my variety. ;-)

That's great! Originally, Master of Orion was the game I had my eyes on, while Stellaris was more of a "dark horse", but since the early access build of MoO has gotten some pretty mixed reactions, Stellaris is now the title I have the highest hopes for.
It's good that it's released with some space to the sweltering summer warmth. ;-)

Whoa, that´s quite a relief. The BG games are among my all-time favorites and I am really eager to see if this special "in-between-game", can live up to the old titles. I´ll pre-purchase as soon as the listing goes up on steam! ^_^

Quoting: KeyrockThe Witcher 3 - Is this a game that is still going to get ported? I am worried. These titles would rank high on my list as well, but I would like to think (hope) that all the above games does have a reasonable chanse of being ported/getting a linux release. While on the other hand, there are other titles that I feel would require a significant miracle to show up on Linux.
Styx: Master of Shadows
Styx: Shards of Darkness
Technomancer
Hard Reset Redux
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

It´s tough to choose between "Fallout 4" and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", but I´ll have to go with Fallout because of the game length and expansions that would probably give me 100+ hours of gaming.
I guess my list would look something like this:
1. Fallout 4
2. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
3. Dishonored II
4. Mafia III
5. GTA V
6. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil´s Daughter
7. Rise of the Tomb Raider
8. Doom
9. Fallout 3 HD remake (not confirmed but a speculated release)
10. Cyberpunk 2077 (though probably not this year)
I´m only including titles that I feel are quite unlikely to get ported. (maybe with the exception of Tomb Raider)

So basically it's very short, very primitive from a graphical standpoint, quite expensive but on the more positive side it's really innovative & fresh.
Humm, well I can't deny I'm interested in trying it but not for 20,69€, maybe when it's down to neighborhood of 6,69€.
