Bad news in my opinion. I hate Paradox' DLC policy and would hate for current and future Age of Wonders games to get the same treatment. Age of Wonders 3 is already feature complete and was even before the 2 DLCs. In my opinion, Paradox games are more akin to early access games on release.

Quoting: morbiusCould this be the first Steam summer sale where I don't buy anything? Few games that I had my eye on (Firewatch, Knee Deep, Cradle...) are still pricey.Same here, the few games I might have been interested in are still too pricey, and I already have so many games I've yet to play. Plus, it's summer and I hardly play anything anyway!

I'll certainly pick it up (as long as there are no 'Beamdog story enhancements and NPcs' in it). I've played the original, but it's a few years ago since last time.
Still, I'll have to finish Tides of Numenera first...

Quoting: buenaventuraNeera is OK, it's the other NPCs I hate. Some of them are really cringe-worthy...Quoting: Stupendous ManI think Neera in BG1:EE is awesome ^___^Quoting: EikeI never even had heard about Planescape: Torment until 2016. I wonder if I should fetch it. Heard great things. If you like cRPGs, then absolutely yes. It has a great story, though the GUI could have been better.
I just hope Beamdog keep themselves to making the enhanced addition without having to add extra NPCs and stuff. In general, their stuff is absolutely awful, as seen in the 2 enhanced BG games they made.

Is anyone else having the problem with the game never finishing downloading? I'm at 99% and Steam just keeps trying to download the last 0.1% but repeatedly failing (connection timeout). This is getting frustrating...
EDIT: After the nth attempt it finally downloaded and the game actually starts! Now to find some time to actually play it...

I'm downloading Torment as of this moment, it will be interesting to see if it even launches (I don't have too high hopes, as it's the first we see of the Linux port).

Quoting: Aryvandaar"ONE BILLION YEARS INTO THE FUTURE...", come on, really? ...How is that any different from "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away"? I agree, it's ludicrous, but come on, it's fantasy! ;-)

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionTalos is actually the perfect kind of game for VR. It's not heavy on action and perspective plays a huge role. I wish more companies would announce updates like this.I agree. I'm not terribly excited by VR (yes, I've tried it), but The Talos Principle would be absolutely awesome in VR. I just wonder how they'll solve moving around?

I've had the first game for years but never finished it. I started playing it on android, got bored, started again a year later on PC and got bored. I've just started a new play through today, I'll see if I can finally finish it. One of the reasons why I stopped playing back then was because you couldn't do manual saves, only autosaves on transitions, which caused too much replaying.
