Wait, it's already gone? No prior warning or anything? What hellish behavior on the part of the publisher.

Sentinel is an achievement watcher for non-Steam games on Linux

Quoting: Axel Ekholm Cool i guess but i still don't get why you should care about achievements. I care about having fun playing a game, not having achievement.
They can aid in replayability by encouraging you to play the game in ways you otherwise wouldn't, and its just fun to collect little mementos of some of your favorite games to reminisce about in the future. I still don't get why some people have to be negative towards a feature that harms nobody and enhances the experience for some.

Quoting: Eocene84Never heard of Behavior Interactive before. IMO, this reeks of cashing out, as I don't really hear about people playing this in any significant number anymore. I'll be anything the game will be loaded with MTX soon.
Behaviour Interactive are the people who made Dead by Daylight, if that means anything to you.

Bethesda reveal the huge Starfield Free Lanes update and new Terran Armada DLC

Starfield was a decent game, but I quickly bored of its lame story, boring side quests, and sci-fi setting. I probably won't revisit it, I just want the new Elder Scrolls game already.

but for the Verified status they're expecting 30FPS at 1080p
Oh lord, expect the incoming tidal wave of idiots thinking the Steam Machine will ONLY run games at 1080p 30fps because they don't understand how Valve's verification program works.

Lutris now being built with Claude AI, developer decides to hide it after backlash

Ah, so that explains why Lutris has been such a buggy POS for the past year. I moved over to Heroic for my GOG needs ages ago but its still disappointing to see such a promising project go in this direction.

Out of everything I played, Dungeons of Dusk and Darkhaven have me the most excited.

Quoting: UltraAltesBrotAll fun and games until you see the racist stuff RWS CEO Vince Desi posts on twitter between reposts of fan art.

Yeah, that combined with the childish crash-out Mike J had on Discord a few months back about the Bullet Paradise situation makes me hesitant to support RWS in the future.

Lutris v0.5.21 and v0.5.22 arrive with Valve's Sniper runtime support and new game runners

Quoting: ItsRainingSomewhereI started off with Lutris for my GOG needs. For the most part it worked fine but I would have issues with certain games failing to install due to the install scripts that get used. I eventually tried Heroic and have had no issues, both on my Steam Deck and on my Fedora KDE machines.

I'm glad there is the choice of both for folks but Heroic gets my vote for a reliable and simple GOG installer.
I agree. Lutris is far more versatile but Heroic is by far the more polished experience. Plus having support for GOG cloud saves so I can play between my desktop and Steam Deck is a huge point in Heroics favor as well.

Death Stranding 2 PC specs have been revealed, along with a "Portable" preset for handhelds

150gb for a single player game is insane, otherwise recommended specs look about as I expected. I'm curious if the average performance takes upscaling into account or not.
