Have to ask, Why bother adding DX12 if you've done Vulkan ?

Makes no sense to me .

Only thing I can think of is xbox maybe , no clue if it's on consoles or not.

technical
Very playable. runs out of the box in manjaro linux
proton-ge 8.11
wayland

Game
however its good game it feels just red alert 3 with modified sage2.0 engine, classic C&C rts game with Nato vs Warsow even some units are copy from modern armies. (juggernaut units from Russia) (abraham tanks from USA)
easly fills the gap of cnc games on linux.

Seems to run fine though i did cap frame rate as 3400 fps in the menu was taking the *****

Only thing you do need Proton-GE as default it just crashes part way through the campaign start.

Is there likely to be a native version @Liam do you know?

Also when did you get a 5800x and a 6800xt? Could have sworn you was Intel/Nvidia
Guess I've missed more than I thought !

I used to get this all the time on Gnome, but now that you mention it, Ive not had it at all since jumping over to KDE, so maybe it a compositor bug.
Happens to me on KDE any time I minimize the window.

Never had that issue on mine using KDE (Manjaro).

Disrto pacific maybe, GPU driver even?

So they are still around then!

They seemed to have dropped off the map the last few years or so.

Quoting: ShmerlWhich games does it help? I didn't particularly notice any major changes from it. But I also didn't play that many lately.

For me, significantly less stutters in star citizen. In fact, even less stuttering than with dxvk-async.

The quicker they go full Vulkan and native client the better !

Not that the latter is ever going to happen

OBS Studio 29.1 is out now with AV1 / HEVC for YouTube
3 May 2023 at 5:07 pm UTC

Well just tried AV1 via GPU encode on my 6800xt seems to work fine. No option to use AV1 when streaming though.

Having said that do YT/twitch support streaming AV1 ?
