Quoting: scaineSo we're all "entitled brats" for using Linux? Even if we are, I like to think this readership is above belittling others for their views.Seriously! Is that what you took from my post  Please re read what I posted!
As for a reputation of not paying our way, that's because Linux is free, not because a percentage of Linux users oppose DRM. Either way, it's long refuted by the HiB sales and irrelevant when you're throwing insults around.

Quoting: scaineYes but we read the same thing all the time, I as other have no objection in anyone asking but with responses like,Quoting: orochi_kyoBelittling others for having an unpopular ethos or opinion is EXACTLY why all Linux users get such a hard time on the Steam forums when asking for a Linux port.Quoting: Alm888Stop the production and drop the project, he is not interested anymore!!Quoting: ThorstenFolkersWe rely on some Steam matchmaking features for the online Multiplayer and also copy-protection. So a DRM-free version is possible in the future but is not something we are working towards at the moment.Thank you for your response! Sadly, I'm not interested anymore and will pass. Good luck!
Thanks!
Thorsten
OMG LOL. "DRM free" kids are so entitled.
Please don't be like them.
Thank you for your response! Sadly, I'm not interested anymore and will passThey just come across as can entitled brat and just annoys others and more than likely the devs too. It's also the reason for the premise of Linux users don't want to pay their way, That's why linux users get the hard time on most non linux forums especially steam.

The Linux port of EVERSPACE is still being worked on

May need to give it a while to process into HD or whatever YT does.
What I have found though is it's irrelevant if a port is good or not, nor if you have the best hardware in the land, It still does not cover up if you are complete and utter pants at the game in question ;) As you will see in that quick vid :S:

Quoting: GuestDon't be too quick to blame a cpu series. It's normally a build oversight (sse3 should not be assumed).I remember feral stating that F1 2017 would not run due to lack of SSE3 on the older AMD CPU's
Quoting: GuestI would be interested if anyone is running it with Mesa.It runs fine on mesa 17.x

The general statement is still wrong, you state bugs on AMD as per where as NV is fine are also a bad presumption. I in fact jumped from a gtx1080 to a rx64 because of the issues I was having with NV (Desktop and game)
To be frank both are far from perfect and anyone that is saying different is lying.
The blanket statement of "NV drivers are better than AMD" is just plain wrong and has been for some time!
The general notion of NV categorically being better on linux needs to change where in my experience that is so far from the truth it's not even funny.
As per usual I will be called "fanboy" ect to a blatant liar for saying such things.

I can think of 3 on windows with Vulkan.

Quoting: melkemindDon't think there is. Don't forget Madmax and a few others dont have vulkan on windows.Quoting: pete910Nice improvement! Every little helps. To be fair, there are more games with Vulkan support than DirectX 12 support. I'd say that's progress.
Really wish Vulkan would be more widely used tbh. More chance of us Linux people getting a port too.
