Nice to see radv included , as in that Valve is targeting the oss driver. I know they have employed people to help with the oss driver.
It will help devs also code towards a open/standard driver rather than a prop driver that does some unknown tricks/hacks.

HITMAN released for Linux, initial port report and two gameplay videos

I'll give it another go later.
Edit:
Wonder if it's because I was connected to their server when I first started ? Thus not saved locally

Quoting: liamdaweJust refuses me, states I need to be online, no other options.Quoting: pete910I did test this and I tested it again then to be certain, it works fine for me. The game does nag you, telling you the save was made while being online, but I had no trouble loading it while offline.Quoting: edddeduck_feralMy saves didn't work until I was connected to the hitman servers so I would have to call that an always on to be fair.Quoting: GuestI’d love to play this but Steam-only + additional always online DRM means I’ll wait for a huge sale if I ever buy it.There is no always online requirement for HITMAN. See the opening section from Liam's review for more details.
"To get the elephant in the room out of the way first: The game does have an online requirement for certain features, these are extras and do not affect the main single-player story, which does not require you to be online."
I don't class loading a previous save game as a extra/special feature.
Unless there's a setting I've missed that disables it.
I'll give it another go later.

Some thoughts on switching from Ubuntu to Antergos for Linux gaming
20 Jan 2017 at 12:23 pm UTC
That's all I did for Antergos on my daughters, Also mageia for me, Even Mandrake was disk in, install, done and that's 15 + years ago
Unless you are including clicking a package to install like say steam as manual config.
Admit, laptops are a different story

Quoting: liamdaweOdd point, The vast majority of distros are also th same, Infact a lot require non. Put the disk in, install, done .Quoting: zilotI still find it funny that people recommend Ubuntu as a user friendly distribution, while it have so many issues...It's still the distro to go to for newbies, despite problems, it does require far less manual configuration, which is the main point for people new to Linux.
