I really love the grand stategy games from paradox, Europa Universalis is my favorite game from this dev but this game looks like it will be alot harder. I'll keep my eye on this game

OZSeafordSorry, I did not mean to hijack your thread to make it a tech support one

Its Intel Core i5-4670K CPU, with 8 gb of RAM, a hybrid ssd, and my trusty GTX760.

EDIT - thanks to you both, I shall follow the instructions. It's quite neat to include the ppa. I have to say that each time I load the game it says that my driver is not compatible, but so far, apart from the low fps, which tbh is bearable at 25-30, the game runs really smoothly. Super stable.
I have same setup i5-4670 cpu 8gb ram and gtx760 but I have the 352.30 driver.
My fps is 55 average on very high with this setup.

This is a very nice DLC with new time frame and some balancing fixes!

If anyone got the problem with changing resolution with alt+tab:
You can work around it by bypassing the launcher; in Steam-ck2-properties, paste this into Set Launch options:

This fixed my problems for CK2 and EU4!

Paradox Releasing EU4 Expansion And Hearts Of Iron IV - I May Become A Hermit
12 October 2014 at 5:45 pm UTC

I switched to linux recently with over 800 hours played on eu4 and alot of hours on ck2 as well.

I really love the game but, I have to say that eu4 and ck2 both have the same nasty graphic bugs. When I launch ck2/eu4 both the normal way either from shortcut or steam library and alt-tab out of the game and go back in the game it somehow changed my resolution which is a very annoying bug.I found a workaround for this by starting the game from the ck2/eu4 folder. Then I'm able to play but this gives additional graphic bugs.

I hope paradox will fix these issues since I'm not the only one with these problems
Beside this its a good port and faster ironman saves then windows!

The patch notes looks very promising, looking forwards to it!
