So, I played... Black Mesa

often they are just standing around, visibly. you can use your crossbow to hit them, that works too. however, mines are indeed the easiest way. just set up some of them in the areas they run around and wait. sometimes one mine catches even 2 ninjas at once.

I don't know system shock at all, but from what I have seen it is an insta-buy ^_^

The latest elusive target is live in HITMAN, including in the Linux version
25 Feb 2017 at 3:37 pm UTC

I have plenty of hours on hitman, all of the story parts done and well yes, I wanted to try all the elusive targets and was a little upset when I figured out that this was really time limited.

However, I guess that all of these elusive target-contents were made upon release and that they are being revealed one by one now, since the narrating woman's voices are recorded (I don't guess they bring her to the audio recording studio every time an elusive target is revealed) so I guess the amount of elusive targets is known to the devs and will come to an end at some point in time. Surely that might be the case when they want to release Season 2.

To be clear about these targets: I enjoyed hitman a lot and I am still on it, finishing all the challenges and achievements, which are valuable content. I am just disappointed that the elusive targets are there, but that I can not play/kill them.

Project Cars 2 now has a trailer, with no mention of their promised Linux/SteamOS support

LOL guys wtf..? I was just joking about piracy and you almost started a flamewar here ;D

fact is, no matter what platform or OS: I will not support these liars in any way.

well I do not blame your language. I wanted project cars 1 so badly that I had it in my wishlist for months, just to be the first who sees an announcement from the devs that it is available on steamOS. surely that did not happen, instead the mentioned twitter-response made it clear.

PC2 looks good, yes, and I believe it will be a pretty much good game. now I still doubt I would buy it and I am really not the shitstorm-like-guy I probably should be, but I think in case it really does come to linux, PC2 would be the first game on steamOS I would `pirate` by downloading it from whatever source and using a noCD-crack or whatever. Just for fun, to show my lack of support for these ...guys.

Black Mesa, the fan-made remake of Half-Life is rather unstable on Linux right now

I have all settings maxed to their highest possible values, no crashes so far ...I am somewehere where the first contact with the millitary is made.

Project Cars official twitter confirms to me there are no plans for it on Linux now

you think windows folks would act different, if e.g. half-life-3 was released for linux only for just a week?

I am not talking months, years, and about ongoing promises with notgonnahappen as final answer after months of waiting and pre-ordering. They would probably burn the dev's studio.

well I have no windows and I do not use wine any more since about 1-2 years. thanks to valve everything I have/want except GTA5 (the only reason why my gifted xbox is still up and running) I have everything I want without the need to run some .exe

No seriously - this is really unprofessional. I am not a geek, freak or whatever, just some guy who wants to work+play easily without all those problems people suffer from while using pre-installed operating systems they pay for. Valve helped there a lot, and honestly: if I was valve and if I really cared, then I (valve) would be the one who feels betrayed, because in some way I also lied to my customers whom I promised support for games.

In fact Valve should sue them and ban their shit from the valve store. See who cares then, I am sure they would turn out very small and start to appologize.

That's how the Project Cars studio head responded to WiiU people they upset when they cancelled it. Extremely unprofessional.

Edit: It's not even being taken out of context, it's directly from here http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?27584-Can-the-Wii-U-run-PCARS/page9 [External Link]
I dont really want to buy the game anymore anyway. Even if it comes to Linux Im not even considiering getting this.
The most scary part is that Ian seems to enjoy keep poking deafswing with trash talk.

well, assuming that someone there lives in a windowed world - could you please ask whether it is coming for "steamOS" ..?
