Exactly as stated in the article FYI. For Wine / Proton.

released a few days ago after Early Access period and has user score of 97% positive ~ 2500 reviews. Works under Proton but dev (single person) promised a Linux version. Who knows if it comes though, take it as it is.

adding here because I really like level design in this one and the score is quite there where the best are.

Cheers
Yeah that seems good too, but the performance was really rough on Steam Deck. Edit: actually, going to test some stuff on it to see if I can get it up. Will video if I can :)

Total War: PHARAOH announced - Linux port from Feral Interactive (UPDATE: incorrect)

Yeah, in the era of Proton, having a port that has updates and DLC often way behind and no cross-platform multiplayer - it's just not acceptable. I'm not surprised Feral stopped, they can't compete with Proton realistically. Other developers who do updates at the same time can but Feral's way just won't cut it now.

Quoting: Liam DaweUpdate: Feral Interactive emailed me to correct the record that they're not actually doing a Linux port this time. They said the Creative Assembly FAQ post was incorrect. Feral are now doing macOS only.
Wow, that's kind of short sighted, isn't it?

Ha, does this mean you should just take the article down, since it's no longer 'gaming on linux' if they're not providing a Linux port?
No I’m not going to take an article down that has a clear correction.

I've no idea what you've been reading but that's really not true, especially given the completely different graphics APIs used - Vulkan and Metal. There's a whole bunch of other differences to take into account to from filesystem to sound system.

Nintendo Switch emulator yuzu gets a nice Steam Deck upgrade
23 May 2023 at 3:01 pm UTC

Quoting: damarrinI am sort of curious if I can get the new Zelda running well on the SD. I've been playing it these past few days and I was vividly reminded how uncomfortable the Switch is. It's fine with the controllers detached on the TV, but handheld... eugh.
Yeah that's my biggest problem with my Switch, how flat it is - absolutely terrible ergonomics. Gives me serious hand cramp if I try it. My Switch is an original model too, so I should technically have no problem using it for the needed bits in yuzu emulation if I wanted to. Which I will admit has been tempting me more recently.
