I own it from there too, freespace2 is an awesome title all around might have to play it through again :)

Bumadar, the amazon system uses the same accounts for uk/us that's why it would know your login stuffs :)

From what I read no not really, they it's all sandboxed - as in it shouldn't be able to break out of itself at all.
