Quoting: GuestWould be easier to read if you just put the Linux games in a separate list from the Windows games.
Sure, I can understand that, done.

Quoting: GuestTo be honest I don't get the point of including Windows games that run via Proton
Because it's a list of personal recommendations, and I recommended them. They work great.

Book of Travels did not have a good launch, Might and Delight let devs go

Quoting: GuestYes, 35 devs is not small. It places the game at an AA level.
Depends what definition you go for really, so many people think differently on it. Going by WikiPedia or IGN, it doesn't fit what either claim is AA as it's too small. More like Triple-I for a bigger indie. Regardless though, people constantly underestimate what it takes to make even a slightly bigger "indie" game. The fact is, they were self-published and self-funded, so it's indie to me.

Red Hat donates $10,000 to OBS Studio, their Flatpak to be official for Linux
22 Dec 2021 at 1:03 pm UTC

Quoting: feaneronIt did not take months to package it, only a few hours. What took months was improving the whole stack, from adapting OBS Studio to use portals, to adding new features to existing portals, to adding new features to the Flatpak tooling itself, to figuring out a deploy pipeline from GitHub to Flathub - OBS Studio is the first application in history to publish directly from GitHub to Flathub. In the end, these months were well spent; the platform was improved, and the entire community - users and developers alike - will reap the benefits of the work we've done.
That's some really great insight there, thanks for sharing!

Well that's a surprise, Project Zomboid's MASSIVE overhaul is out now

Quoting: Alm888P.S. I am starting to think myself showing up in every news mentioning GOG availability only to inform that it is not the case for Linux to be quite tiresome. How about omitting GOG from the outlets list by default unless manually checked? I think it would be less work that way.
GOG can be at times messy I agree. We will always include store links as standard though. The problem is unless I own each game, being 100% sure is impossible and the unnoficial GOGDB can be quite unrealiable at times.

The 41 series is on GOG just perhaps not the absolute latest patch that only just went out.

Two Tribes open sourced their game engine for RIVE and Toki Tori 2+

Quoting: M@GOidOh man, I wished they released another Rive game so bad. Loved that game, the main character is hilarious, and the references they included in the game were great.

At the time they said it would be their last game, since they were disbanding. I only hope they can continue, because there is a lot of half backed indie games out there, and Rive had excellent production value. It was a finished game from the start, not a eternal "early access" like so many other ones full of promises.
Agreed, RIVE was an absolute gem.
