On LInux you don't have to install it, simply run the "run_game.sh" file.

For future support posts, please use the Forum and include as much detail as possible. Running executable files will depend on what file manager you're using. Some make it easy (like KDE's Dolphin), some by default have them setup to open as a file by default instead of launching.

You might be but the majority won't. Think for a moment on who the main target really is, it's not us, it's the Steam Deck. We already know it's got a lot of reservations in, do you really think potentially hundreds of thousands* of people not being supported is going to go down well? I don't think so.

I would expect more developers to take it seriously once the Deck is actually out.

*An initial bug let us get a glimpse of reservation numbers before it was fixed, and it was well over 100K.

Its loads in some type of driver as well, if it can't load it's driver d at startup, had to logout of my linux user and log back in again, was doing a hard reset though to be sure. with non-staging the driver would never load.

How did you get it to launch? I can't get it past the BattlEye bit

Need to use wine staging. I was able to get in game and start a battle lab and drop in but after a few minutes it always crashes. Performance is very bad too.

No different than before. Fortnite, like all others has not updated to allow Linux players in. I doubt Fortnite will either.
