I think them going with Coherent for their UI was a big part of their downfall, it is the cause of a lot of the UI issues time and time again.

Hand of Fate is a brilliant game, you should really give it a go on Linux & SteamOS

Interesting, I will see if I can complete it on Normal before venturing into Hard Mode to see how I do then heh.

Quoting: FredOThis game is really great, and I've put quite a few hours into it since release. The 4 free updates add plenty of replay-ability, and that together with the Murder at Sea update from June. I still haven't been able to beat the final battle in the story mode though, still working on that one...
What difficulty level are you doing it on?

Quoting: EikeI fear another one has been made by me: Portal Stories: Mel is in updates as well as in DLCs. It's called a fan mod, but I guess it better fits DLCs than updates.
It had an update in 2015, so actually it still fits in the updates category. It's also a DLC, so it fits there too.

So all is fine for that one.

Quoting: RTherenWhat about icculus?
Again, he wasn't nominated by anyone.

Quoting: OniondreamsApparently The Talos Principle has snuck into the "Overall best Linux game released in 2015" category. I am guessing it should be removed since it was released in 2014 :)
Well spotted, I have removed it, anyone who voted for it has their vote back in that category.

You can see what category you can vote in if it doesn't have a tick beside its name FYI, I added that in late last night to help people keep track.

Ah, yes that's what we didn't do this time around which is probably the issue, you're right. I asked editors to go over it but only myself and one other really had the time to do it. Next time I think we may still leave it open then, but ask the community to sift through it too.

Seems to be running smoothly now though!

Quoting: TheBossAnother one that sadly was missed, it has been moved. Whoever voted for that in open source games has their votes back in that category now.
I wouldn't do that, it would certainly arise questions why game X or Y is missing - and then it would be your miss, not ours.
How about a short list review phase? One day where everybody can point out wrongly placed stuff? Just like done now, except that voting is not open yet at that time?
It was only for a very few amount of games that had to be moved, can't leave the wrong games laying around taking up votes.

Don't start that VP stuff again, this is not the place for it.

Quoting: raonlinuxHow is possible is not transistor, for me it's the best audio that had on this year. Also they are missing games, magicka 2 is one of them. No idea the list is not complete.
As people didn't nominate them, that was the whole idea ;)

Quoting: GuestOpenMW is also in the "best update" category and not "best FOSS project", not sure if intended.

Edit: sorry, it *is* in the "favourite FOSS project" category AND in the "best update"…
Yeah, anything can be updated, so it's correct :)
