Well, those were all random guesses ;)

Quoting: LeerdeckWhat a stupid click-bait article... and of course directly copied from /r/Linux_Gaming
Actually, we reported on it first, then Phoronix copied it with a clickbait title, and then someone on reddit posted a direct link with the title copied from Phoronix.

We were first, it's not click-bait since the developer directly blamed Microsoft.

Have fun.

Quoting: fleskYeah, the search function doesn't replace spaces with wildcards. I often google "site:gamingonlinux.com search term" if I can't find what I'm looking for, or if I can only remember parts of the content, but not the title of the article.
Just FYI I've starred this reply to look into doing :)

Also, last day of nominations folks!!

Quoting: Avehicle7887Is there any way I can turn off the "We have detected a login from a new device...." email? Basically I clear all my history, including cache and cookies when I close firefox. Everytime I relog back on GoL it sends me a new email and it's kinda annoying.
Done, change it in the UserCP, checkbox under the security heading on the first page.

Quoting: EikeThe mail I've got doesn't display right in Kmail, neither as plain text nor as HTML.
Plain text ony shows the "Login detected from: ..." line, HTML view shows nothing, only white.

In Thunderbird, it only shows the content of the e-mail if I manually change it to text-only (i.e. Thunderbird won't auto-detect this particular e-mail's format)... Otherwise I just get a blank (white) e-mail with the subject "GamingOnLinux: New Login Notification".
Those two are the same issue I imagine, the headers/dual content email body isn't being set exactly right somewhere then. Looks fine in gmail FYI.

A closer look at some DRM free Linux games available on itch.io

Itch is staying firmly on my radar due to such open communication. Other stores could learn a lot from them. An open source client is just icing on the cake for me.

We really should cover Itch a lot more.

I do find it amusing that with your characters, you control both of them when talking to each other. Can't say I've seen that done before, and it certainly makes it interesting, but also easier to do what you want.
I haven't tried this myself, but if you make one of them with a personality "AI" I bet they will reply in the conversations according to the profile you set.

Also, if you play in coop I bet it makes more sense as well.

This game is *all* about options and I love it!
Ah yes, that does make sense, maybe I should have given my companion some AI heh.
