Valve Are Tracking SteamOS Issues With AMD Graphics

I find it strange that Valve chose to do this instead of pushing AMD's open source driver which has been improving quicker and to which Valve could actually contribute as well. Valve is no stranger to open source software.

I can understand the reasoning of wanting to have all your games to launch in one place, so it will be fun to see where the project goes.
I understand the reasoning as well. One would be shocked at just how many people want to buy their games from Steam or a place that sells games redeemable through Steam just to have them all in one place. Then again, you can already launch games not bought on Steam through Steam as well but that has not persuaded the aforementioned people from purchasing games not redeemable on Steam, strangely.

Worlds of Magic Strategy Game Released On Steam Early Access

Looks like it has a mix of a few different genre's mixed in with it for good measure too, As not only will you be turn-based battling, but you found cities, raise armies, research and cast spells, hire powerful heroes, and create powerful magical artefacts. All in one tight package.
That sounds like Heroes of Might and Magic. Is this game like Heroes of Might and Magic?

i like how they push linux but the idea of steam within gnu/linux is perverting the actual idea of free software. what we trade here is freedom for convenience and the sole reason i go along with it is that i hope when steam dies off one day (and it will, all does eventually) it will have pushed linux a little. whenever i can i buy my games in DRM free fashion and dodge steam like the plague. i like what they do to push the developement of linux but still i see it as a trade with the devil.
Then support GOG's Linux efforts with all your might. I certainly want to, but GOG is taking its sweet time with introducing Linux games.

Going by Steam, there are approximately 795 000 Linux users to cater to. Mind, those are just the ones using Steam.
