Quoting: riusmaAlso [edit: latest experimental Proton] fixed (at least for me) Ray Tracing that was crashing Cyberpunk 2077 since 1.62 update (game was running without Ray Tracing but was a bit unstable)! :)Even RT Overdrive (Pathtracing) is working in Cyberpunk 2077 with this Proton Experimental verson and it's stable using these start options:
VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11,dxr,force_static_cbv PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=0 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 %command% --intro-skip -skipStartScreen --launcher-skip

If you get Orthos that include some of the water image too, they can now run smoothly into the water to give some great shorelines:

Quoting: GuestIt can cost extra if you go the Orbx route, but Ortho will fix up the terrain. I am not entirely sure how it will affect with the new weather (seasons) though, I have seen people say it should still work. One issue common to Ortho is being stuck in summer (most ortho's are from summer or spring).I have been using X-Plane 12 since it came out on Steam as Early Access. On Linux it has been rock solid for me, and smooth performance too, but you do need a good machine for sure. I can also confirm that the weather effects like snow work fine with Orthos. Here is a screenshot with light snow cover. The snow cover is fully dynamic too.

X-Plane 12 is out on Steam now. I've given it a quick test and it runs great - very smooth considering the early access status!

The coolest Steam Deck video is still this one from X-Plane, and it's Linux native too:

Metro Exodus: It's been running really well up until the desert level, and then it started crashing continuously. Dropping graphics level to medium seems to have helped a lot, as generally suggested.
Loving the game so far. Excellent emersion and interesting story.
Total War: Rome remastered: Sorry Spain, if one of my truest allies attacks me from behind when I'm least prepared, it can only end one way... :angry: :grin:

Excellent news that GOL now has a Valve Index - a huge donation for sure. I've been finding it hard to get an overview of the current status of VR on Linux and have held of getting any kit for that reason, so maybe you can now bring some clarity to the topic...?
