That is good information, thanks. I ran some benchmarks across Hitman, Deus Ex, Talos Priciple and CoH2 and saw some extra FPS in all of them with "performance" set. Particularly CoH2 took a good boost, which I'm happy about because I always thought there was fat bottleneck on my system with that game.

A nice interview indeed! Feral have definitely been doing an amazing job bringing incredible titles to Linux, so that I just can't stop throwing money at them :) Keep up the great job, and many thanks from me.

I loved this game, and finished all scenarios of the base game. If you're used to XCOM I think it helps for the combat, and you need to use cover wisely. I never had a crash, so it looks like peoples' experience will vary.

It's great to see this released - thank you Feral! It has good reviews on Steam too, so this should be a blast.

In the words of J.R.R. Tolkien: “There is no curse in Elvish, Entish, or the tongues of Men for this treachery.”
What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

XCOM 2 - got my ass kicked in my first attempt, ending in defeat. Ready to do it again though!
Dirt Rally - Can't get enough of this.
Hitman - Totally awesome - I can get lost for hours in this game.
Lara Croft GO - A nice puzzle game, which i've unfortunately finished already.
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis :D

Both of these DLCs sound pretty great. Unfortunately I haven't finished the base game yet - still sitting tight at some nasty boss fight...I think it might be time to revisit that!
A look at how much RAM you might need as a Linux gamer

Edit: I just saw you had some VMs running - that's a different story then because you can use as much memory as you want.

Quoting: gojulI have 32 GB and managed to consume it only once, with Cities, a Firefox with several tabs, and several VMs started. The box started to become damn slow, and closing Cities fixed the issue.Linux will happily assign all available RAM to cache and buffers, but it does not mean that it NEEDS that much memory. It will also reassign that memory to processes as needed.
BTW on that box I use KDE as my DE.

Great adventure games. I spent the 90's living under a rock, so it's time to finally try The Dig and some Indiana Jones goodness. :)
