Quoting: elistoAlso WTF is burgesses ?
I wondered about that, too, but now I have this urge to fight it :angry:
There was a guy named Steve Burgess used to have a show on CBC. Maybe that's who they mean?
He could just have a problem with female burgers. Maybe he only likes ones made from bulls. Or maybe he doesn't members of the governing body of Colonial Virginia [External Link]. Can't tell.

Quoting: fagnerlnThe problem of Linux communities is that the huge part of it isn't people that cares about freedom of the individuals, is just socialists that want to "fight the burgesses".
I think the term you're looking for is bourgeoisie, fella.

Its at times like this, when folks disagree, I like to quote the late great Mr. Rogers:

"I like each and every one of you just the way you are."

The only thing to hate in this world is hatred itself and that which perpetuates it.

It's you I like. [External Link]

Grand Cathay gets a big introduction for Total War: WARHAMMER III

Grumble...

Not a single comment? Come on, people! I get that some of you don't like strategy games, but how is there not more hype here? This trailer is so awesome that I don't even mind the delay! The creativity on display is astounding, considering Creative Assembly had to make Cathay's units almost entirely from scratch! (There's almost no lore pertaining to units, let alone an army book.)

I know some of you want Feral to port other (ostensibly) more action-oriented games, but that doesn't make Total War games bad!

The Warhammer games are easily the best TW games since Shogun 2. If anyone would like to know more about them or the setting, I'd be glad to share. I'd love to coordinate some Linux-exclusive multiplayer

Yes, I probably deserve a cask-et for that one. Feel free to tell me to cork it!

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion has dropped Linux support (updated)

First Forager, now this. What luck I have, I tell you...:angry::angry:

A struggle to build and test? Build and test it on Linux for Pete's sake! Unity's editor works fine now on Linux last I checked; what a cop-out response! If it's a middleware problem, just say so, don't blame the Kernel/OS for someone else's failing.

If itch supported reviews, I'd tell them what I think just like I did with Forager!

First thing I thought of when I saw the image on the main page:

"Chevron One Encoded!"

Yeah, I've probably watched too much Stargate when everything round and sci-fi starts looking like the 'Gate.

Just tried Swords and Souls: Neverseen, and after struggling with the training mini-games, I can safely say that you shouldn't play it if you're arthritic like me. It is an absolutely brutal clicker/keyboard masher. Outside of the training, its a relatively repetitive idle game. I tried it for two hours, and I can safely say that I abhor this game for the monotonous drivel it puts you through and the obviously designed for mobile interface.

This kind of crap makes me angry, when a game can cause physical harm to those playing it! I actually had to ice my left (good) hand after the bronze weapon training; I'd hate to see the later levels. (My right hand is nearly useless, most of the time. For those who are curious see Cerebral Palsy guidance's [External Link] article on the subject.)

I play RPGs and Strategy games partly because I don't have to worry about my lack of mobility, and this game is the opposite of what I consider good controls.

I'll definitely leave a negative review on this once my hand feels better.

Oh, it runs fine in Proton Experemintal, if that wasn't obvious. Two thumbs way down!

I just installed and tested Dreadlands with Proton Experimental and can say that not only does it seem to work flawlessly, it's a heck of a good time. Combat is basically XCOM: EW/XCOM 2, however the overworld map and sidequests turn it into much more of an RPG. It seems less difficult than XCOM 2: WOTC, but I haven't played that much yet.

Slasher's keep is fun, but the block mechanic needs work. It just doesn't seem to register half the time, and is useless at blocking ranged attacks. Speaking of ranged enemies feel cheap, with your methods for dealing with them being few at first. The artwork is pretty good though. I'd give it a 5.5/10 if I assigned arbitrary numbers to games anymore.

Quest Hunter... ho hum. Another Diablo clone that just doesn't try anything new. There's a lot of unnecessary hand-holding too. My advice, skip it.

Swords and Souls: Neverseen is the sequel to an old flash game, and its look reflects that. Haven't tried it yet, but the reviews are good.

By now, everyone probably knows about Delver, and getting it for a dollar is a ridiculous thing to pass up. Haven't played Tower of Time yet, but I love CRPGs, so I'll give it a go next.

Nice Dwarf Fortress reference, there Tynan!

As for the update, there goes my free time again.
