Breath bated, game awaited. Oh ye capricious gods of gaming see this one home to Linux where it belongs and will be beloved. (After all, after Shadow Warrior 2 and Homefront you damn well owe us!!!)

Very nicely written article, Sangre. Well, done!
When a game like Circle Infinity, a game with a wholly original design, is released, it goes on my wishlist without a thought for whether I might actually enjoy it. As such, Circle Infinity has been on my wishlist since well before the game came out and I haven't purchased it because I can't shake the feeling that I'll really suck at it. Lol.
But now you tell me that there's a demo!! "Ah HA!" says I. "I will at last know if I'm gonna suck at this game or not." So thanks for the article and a chance to try out this fascinating game.
And thanks, too, for bringing these more obscure Pro-Penguin titles out into the spotlight
Indeed, well done.

The latest Steam Client Beta has sorta broken downloads and updates for some Linux users

Well, I'm sure it'll happen to my Ext4 drive. On the plus side, however,
1. I'm in the middle of Mad Max and probably will be for at least a day or three more;
2. I won't have to be confronted with any more humongous Payday 2 updates at startup.
I'm sure Steam will get it fixed up sometime before the sun burns out. ;)

Lol. I just got done looking at this game in an article at RPS, wishing Bohemia would bring Ylands and other future games to Linux. Lo and behold! It may well yet come to pass! Groovy Huzzahs all around. :D

Another Linux beta I'm hesitant to buy because I don't know how Steam is going to count the sale. It used to be it would count as a Windows sale, but I've run across conversations indicating that's no longer how it works. What's the sale status of these Linux betas, does anybody know?

I couldn't hear the useless whining of the parity complainers because I was too busy playing Mad Max.

A good article well written Liam. Myself, Ive never been concerned about how this or that game has been made playable on Linux, just that games are being made playable on Linux, and I feel a little sorry for that segment of Linuxians that seem incapable of fully embracing or enjoying gaming on Linux until it meets or exceeds the performance of Windows.

If you're in the mood for a decent Zombie survival game, don't pass up on Project Zomboid

PZ game went into my wishlist a little over a year ago, and, because I follow it, I can tell you that it is updated regularly and at length. I haven't bought PZ at its $14.99 price tag because, quite frankly, its still in Early Access game and still in flux and I like my games to be closer to their final form than PZ seems to be. I'm just waiting on a good sale price to risk such a purchase.

Quoting: PsyringeHorrible recommendations on Steam. I wonder if it's under active development. How much is the difference between the stable version and IWBUMS beta branch?The overall rating forProject Zomboid, based on 12,423 reviews, is Very Positive. Glancing over the most recent negative reviews (of which there are only 201) the "Horrible Reviews" I see are doing a lot more whinging about of PZ's slow pace of development than about its quality of gameplay. I'm not a math guy, but 201 of 12,624 total reviews is 1.6%, so pretty small number of negative reviews, really.
