It would be pretty funny if the bots were also signing the petition.

one Shadowrun fans might like to take a look at
I did really enjoy the Shadowrun games even though I don't generally get on with RPGs.
So did I. But this doesn't look turn-based. Cool and atmospheric and all, but I'm kind of crap at combat games so this is probably not for me.
Yeah I went through a small roller-coaster of expectations. "Oh no they are making an RPG this time, but wait their Shadowrun RPGs were these great tactical games, oh no the end of the trailer suggests it is not even turn-based".
ha! Same exact here. Maybe just maybe it could be real-time-with-pause and also have a turn based mode similar to PoE2? Because like you all, I SUCK so hard at real time twitch action combat games. I will probably get it no matter what just to support this wonderful dev, but I do REALLY hope real time action isn't the only mode of combat.
It reminds me of The Ascent, which I ended up refunding even though I liked the atmosphere and story. The combat killed it for me.

Black Myth: Wukong shows very clearly Valve are selling a lot of Steam Decks

Why ignore a platform that's sold multiple millions, and is clearly just continuing to fly off the shelves?
Cause Sweeney hates us.
Maybe he does, but I bet he loves money more than he hates us. Eventually, even he will come around.

Quoting: Leahi84There's TONS of hype for this right now with everyone I know and the BioWare/dragon age communities.
I honestly mean no disrespect but I've never understood the attitude of people claiming 'hype'.

How did Cities Skylines 2 work out at release? go back further to Amazons MMO (New world). Further still the game that was mean to be an improved ARK survival in a different setting (ATLAS). There are all manner of games in between but these are the main ones that come to mind.

I used to get 'hyped' when I was a child.. after age 12 not so much. After the age of 21 unless I know for certain a new Ferrari was coming in a few weeks time I don't get 'hyped'.
Not to mention one look at the Gameplay trailer and its CLEAR this is only Dragon Age in name and not the Dragon Age most of us know and love.. this game is gona flop and flop hard with them trying to attract everyone BUT actual fans
Quit lying. The gameplay footage had everything DAI had. Say what you really mean and quit trying to act like it was the gameplay that bothered you.

Thay are talking about a "heavily modified" FSR 2.2. Hopefully, it will suit the game's graphics better than just dropping the latest available version (FSR 3.1 doesn't look that much better than 2.2, though).
Perhaps, but they make a point to mention they have DLSS frame generation. By not using FSR 3, they're excluding most users from frame generation since only 4000 series nvidia cards can use DLSS frame gen, if I understand correctly.

Until Dawn remake arrives on PC October 4, requires PSN account

Quoting: KlaasOkay… So we have to hope that they get lots of negative feedback and bad sales so that they give up on the idea for future releases instead of abandoning PC as a platform…
If history is any indicator, it won't. So many games require alternate accounts, and they all sell well. The only thing that might get Sony some backlash is that people in some regions can't create PSN accounts.

World of Goo 2 is out now with Native Linux support

Quoting: melkemindSo, I just tried it on my Steam Deck and got a missing libraries error, specifically libcurl-gnutls.so.4. On my desktop, running Manjaro, it started right up with no problem.
Yep, getting the appimage to run on the steam deck is annoying. I had to install libcurl-gnutls, which worked using pacman.
Then it wanted libssl 1.1, which pacman claims to have as a separate package, but would not let me install (target not found). Getting the package from arch repos results in it being compiled with the wrong compiler version, so I ended up manually downloading openssl-1.1 from the steam os repo and installing it directly from file with pacman. After that, World of Goo 2 worked.
(Don't try forcing it to run in some steam linux runtime though.)
Every time I get a non steam game I get pushed further to replacing steam os…
The devs said they're working on the issue. Just for kicks, I tried installing the Windows version with Bottles on the Steam Deck, and it worked with no problems.

Quoting: poke86the Linux version is an AppImage and
it does not work out-of-the-box on Gentoo, because the AppImage does not contain all dependencies - the one thing that the AppImage format promises to solve.

So, what does one need to get the game to run on Gentoo?
The AppImage would need the outdated sys-fs/fuse version (slot 2 - luckily it can be installed at the same time as the up-to-date version). However, installing that will just lead to a different error message, this time about libcurl-gnutls, which is not bundled in the AppImage, though it should be.

In order to get the game to run, I had to first unpack the appimage (there is a command line switch for that), and then create a symlink in the game folder from libcurl-gnutls.so.i-forgot-the-version to /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.that-same-version. Then, launching the game with LD_LIBRARY_PATH="./" set (so that it finds the symlinked lib) finally gets it to run.

My conclusion from this is that AppImage does not make the dependency situation better. If at all, it makes it more annoying.
Considering it also comes with the Windows version, it probably would've been easier for you to just run it through Wine (I'm joking. Don't recompile me).
