That reminds me of the days helping out with the LinEAK (Linux Easy Access Keyboard) project to get the extra multimedia keys to work back in the Wild West before everyone agreed on a standard.
Fairly sure it’s all merged into the kernel HID driver now

If it were some random repair shop or company doing the refurbishing then I would completely agree.
But if Valve themselves are doing it, I would expect them to put all the components through the same testing done during the manufacturing process. But I could be wrong.

I have fond memories of playing Baulders Gate when it first came out.
When I got it home and opened the box and saw it was 5 CDs :shock:
