Life is Strange 2 confirmed to be coming to Linux in 2019 from Feral Interactive
22 Mar 2019 at 12:02 pm UTC

It seems that the Linux port made by Feral will be available NEXT YEAR...
I jumped to this conclusion because the Episode 5 will be available on 3rd December and Feral has the habit to port games after the Windows release... But thanks to Proton, this game can be enjoyed on Linux right now.

Valve show off their new Steam Library design and a new Events page

C'mon, Valve!
I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED!
Is this ALL you can do??
PROTON is OK, but it is not enough for to compensate what EPIC is doing with the big industry players.

Practically every days Tim Sweeney is kicking Gabe Newell in the balls, and the fat guy doesn't even react because He lies on the floor almost passed out!

If Steam want to survive this war, We (Linux gamers) need more than a new library design: GabeN must reduce the cut to the 10% or less for to attract big titles like EPIC is doing...

The reason why Valve stopped to develop games a long time ago is because is more easy to live from the 30% cut of the work of other developers.

Google announce ‘Stadia’, their new cloud gaming service built on Linux and Vulkan

On His twitter account, Agustin Cordes [External Link], (Scratches and Asylum) made some interesting observations and I agree with Him.
This is a good chance for game journalism to ask hard questions rather than gushing over game announcements:
1) What data is Stadia going to track? Can users opt-out?
2) Has Google analyzed the implications of energy consumption?
3) Is this usable in underdeveloped countries?
https://twitter.com/AgustinCordes/status/1108088157562720257 [External Link]
With the increasing energy crisis the world is facing (while we're all comfortably using Twitter, there's still entire countries without access to electricity), is this really the sensible direction to take?

I believe that videogames, specially AAA, must be system agnostic and must be playable where ever, using the proper compatibility tool if needed...
DXVK indeed help with this.
