The "Press space to continue" bug of Bioshock 2 Remastered continue in PROTON 3.16-7

I know there are workarounds suck using the button A of an xbox controller or use -nointro, but is not the same...
Is a WINE/PROTON issue that MUST BE SOLVED, because on my Windows 7 machine the game works out of the box.

Quoting: etonbearsIf it is the GPU memory used, that can explain the FPS drops, because my GTX 970 has 3.5GB....Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoSniper Ghost Warrior 3 via PROTON 3.16-7..I don't know for certain, but I would expect it to be the GPU allocation, since that is what DXVK is most interested in. CPU allocation is less important since the OS can provide virtual memory.

Is that the amount of system RAM used or the amount GPU memory used?
What have you been playing recently and what do you think of it?

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoThis can explain the lack of PROTON updates.....ups! I have to correct myself...
Two months since the last one... That is a lot of time!
There is a new PROTON version!!!
3.16-7:
Fix for fullscreen behavior in Into The Breach.
Fix for crashes in some d3d9 games on Mesa.
Fix for crash when launching certain games, including Path of Exile, the Bloons series, and the Naruto Shippuden series.
Fix for games with special characters in paths, including LEGO Harry Potter.
Improved controller behavior in some games, especially Unity-based games like Subnautica and INSIDE.
Update DXVK to v0.96.
Update FAudio to 19.02.
Restore previous functionality of the Uplay client.
New runtime option for old games that can't handle modern GL extension strings. Set PROTON_OLD_GL_STRING to limit the extension string length.
New runtime option to disable d3d10 support, PROTON_NO_D3D10.
Better support for games that use very old steamworks SDKs, including Lost Planet.
Fixed various problems with the build system, and added a new top-level Makefile to make simple builds much easier.

New stable Steam client update is out opening the door a little wider for Steam Play on Linux

And It is highly recommended to have the protonic library folder on a separated partition/disk...
So, You can unmount the protonic partition/disk before opening the steam client for to messing with the steamplay settings...
Once you are done with the Steamplay settings, you can mount the protonic partition and add the library folder again.
That is what I do and I never had to re-download any protonic game.

Quoting: g000hI wanted to play a game demo, which was available on Windows, not Linux, and the client wouldn't let me get it (Platform not supported). So I decided to revert the setting above....Yes. Make backups of the protonic games before messing with the Steamplay settings.
Well the game demo is now available, BUT... (it's a big BUT) ... Steam client will attempt to redownload all your Proton titles again (arrgggghhhhh). I jumped in and clicked on the "X" don't download buttons - but guessing that I'll be forced to re-download those titles (Don't know for sure, but not looking forward to the PC being out of action while I wait for all these downloads to finish).
Anyone have advice on this?
