Hmm, it's gonna be either this or Tomb Raider I'll treat myself to for my birthday (although it might be later than my actual birthday), but I'd rather wait to get an indication of how they'll perform on my system..

Pavilion, a strikingly beautiful fourth-person puzzling adventure is coming to Linux

Quoting: omer666Maybe it's when you see what the enemy sees as you're playing. Quite unplayable if you ask me :P
That's how it should be. As to the playability, depends on the kind of game I suppose. 1v1 martial arts combat of some sort could work? Mario Kart-like game where you see yourself as the kart in front or behind you sees you? I'm sure some creative developers could come up with a concept where 2nd person could work...

Not sure if you should split Debian tbh. It would break the continuity of the graph, but that might not be too important. I suppose a dev would want to know which platform to focus on? When the Debian-group is split up, Arch might come out on top and that would be kinda misleading.

At the same time, you've got me curious now. Maybe as a unique question or something?

Feral Interactive release the Linux system requirements for Tomb Raider (updated)
19 Apr 2016 at 9:23 am UTC

Quoting: liamdaweFeral did a boo-boo, the actual AMD GPU minimum is:
2GB AMD R7 260X (Driver version MESA 11.2)

Not the 5770 originally listed, article updated.
Whelp, 260X should be quite comparable to my HD 7850, but still... Driver support could mess this up, afaik <.<

Stealth game Shadwen from Frozenbyte to launch in May, Linux should be day-1

Well, Frozenbyte deserves my money (after having bought Trine 1 & 2 on a huge sale) and I deserve a birthday present. My birthday is very early in may though, so might have to be a belated birthday present...

Albion Online MMORPG major update "Cador" released

And it starts on the wrong screen for me, but you can drag it to another screen easily.
I've experimented with using my tv as a second screen (which I now only do for watching video, not convenient otherwise in the end). I recall the resolution going down to something like 1024x1. Had to edit that in some config file manually to fix it.

On the patch, though: Woo! More PvE! Haven't played for a while, but I'll have to check out those new dungeons and spells.

Apparently, destriers are gone (armoured horses aren't). While I thought their current (/former) implementation was a bit shallow, I don't like to see them gone entirely. Mounts are quite important, and the space between normal mounts and dire wolves needs filling.

Feral Interactive must have my secret list of games I want to see on Linux.
...I don't think it was a secret you wanted this game on Linux.

Also, yay! Tomb Raider! Nice work, Feral! (although the work isn't completed yet :D)
