Paradox has been a great supporter of Linux, and they've quickly become one of my favorite developers. In fact, one of the first games I bought when Steam for Linux was released was Crusader Kings II, and I bought Europa Universalis IV on day one.
I'm definitely looking forward to Stellaris as well as Hearts of Iron IV.
I wish they would resurrect Runemaster because that game looked phenomenal.

Still no fix for the game not recognizing the Steam Controller in Linux. I sent them an email about it several months ago, and they acknowledged they were aware of the issue and would be fixing it in the future, so when I saw a major patch start downloading yesterday, I thought maybe they had finally addressed it. Nope.
So I sent them another email requesting a solution.

"...no pay for anything here as they are funded by the original ARK."
I wonder how people who paid for the original game feel about that?

How to tell what Steam games work on Linux & SteamOS, steamplay does not mean Linux support

I thought the Tux icon was perfect, but I understand that Valve has a vested interest in pushing their own branded Linux distro, and I don't have a problem with that. However, they really need to brand their OS with something more distinctive than the generic Steam logo. Something like this:

Sounds like another developer who painted himself into a corner with the "develop for Windows now, port to Linux later" attitude. I really hope developers will start being more conscientious about cross-platform support in the future.

Hmmm... as interested as I am in this game, I think I'll keep my distance for a while because it sounds like the Linux version is going to have some serious issues when it's eventually released.

Quoting: liamdaweI would hardly call that upfront, that's an old post before this campaign was even a thing, that linked first post states:That is very shady. How many of their pledges up to this point were based on apparently false promises of a Day 1 Linux release?
Can't guarantee a day 1 Linux release, but it will be something we'll be looking at from the startYet this campaign said Linux/Mac was day-1 in the FAQ, I email them, it gets edited with no reply to me.
I consider that a bit shady personally.
If it does come to Linux sometime, great, I will play it. There's no way I'm funding it now though.
