Is this a real RPG, or is it just an adventure game with stats?

And by "real RPG", I mean does it have actual choices and consequences that affect individual quests and the overall story? Or does it offer typical JRPG "choices", as in no choice at all?

"Do you want to rescue my uncle?"

>No

"Ha ha! You're a such a joker. Of course you want to rescue him. Let's go!"

Makes perfect sense to me, this game deals with Roman times, CK2 is Dark/Middle Ages, Europa Universalis is from 1500(?) to WWII, Hearts of Iron is WWII. So only thing they'd be missing after this is from WWII era to Stellaris.

Basically making Civilization, one tech level at a time!

I mean in terms of gameplay and not just setting. Crusader Kings II is an RPG/dynasty simulator. Europa Universalis IV is about the politics and economic management of a nation. Heats of Iron IV focuses on the build up to and execution of war including complex battle strategies. What will be the gameplay focus of Imperator: Rome?

The alpha build runs like a pig, but the graphics are nice, and the gameplay shows some promise. Hopefully it'll emerge from development as a polished and fun Diablo-killer.

Streaming games to your phone? Yes please!

Well, it might work well with action games with a minimal interface like Tomb Raider or Mad Max, but it will be useless for interface intensive games like anything by Paradox, or RPGs.
