What a fail fest.
Edit: Some elaboration, it wasn't too long ago they were looking for or had a "Linux engineer" to help get the port out sometime™ after launch. There were rumblings that it would have released last November... and here we are Nov2016. Yet another head on a stick warning others to develop for multiplat from the beginning.

Quoting: liamdaweFine being relative. Like how Dungeon Defenders works fine on Linux... so long as you stay in bird's eye view.Quoting: LukeNukemFor anyone who hasn't read the thread; The two parts of that sentence don't really work together ;)
it apparently works fine! You just can't use the mouse if you continue from a saved game.

Quoting: gojulGraphics do not look sooo beautiful for such a demanding game. I have the system requirements (except for my CPU which may be stronger but unsure as it is an i7-4790) but well, I'll wait a bit before buying it.With a flight sim, there is a whole lot more going on than just visuals.
FEZ and Enclave are now both available on GOG for Linux

Quoting: hummer010It's always nice when they finally get added. There are a few more existing Linux ports that I'd like to see on GOG:Yes very much. If they did that my ownership of DRM-free Saints Row 2 Linux version would be such BS because I originally bought it on Steam when I used Windows. Later got it added on GOG through GOG Connect program and if they added Linux version after that then I should probably re-buy somewhere just to avoid feeling like it's a stolen game.

Quoting: liamdaweOoh cool! Can we have it show who ignores a content by name kind of how "likes" work?Quoting: EikeCan I get a ignore function, please? Or a dislike button for comments that are mostly OT and toxic? Will be looking into that soon, it's on my radar.

Just be aware that with this title, you are not playing to think and solve problems. You are a passive observer taking a not-so-guided tour. Not a good or bad thing, just a different flavor of game. Kind of an ideological museum walk through.

I'm sure that people will complain about the ""dated graphics"" but they look good enough for meAlright, somebody mentioned earlier that Planet Explorers has "something" that other games don't and I think the graphics play into this. This game has an atmosphere of circa ~2004 RPGs from back when experimentation and creative freedom still reigned supreme in game making. PE's forests in particular, bring me back to the time I was a kid, drooling over screenshots of the potential adventures MMORPGs at the time would provide me.. 'if only I could afford my way into PC gaming'. Maybe I just have nostalgia glasses on but PE is one of the last few games which truly feels like escapism.
