Quoting: Luke_NukemI've been addicted to this for a while now - playing on macOS.
The game is everything you could hope for, and more.

How's the performance on macOS?

It's... reasonable. I had to turn anti-aliasing off, and reduce effects details - but you know, running on a MacBook Pro with an RX560, and probably with the last openGL version whatever that was. It's good enough for a game or two.

I fully expect the Linux performance to be kilometers ahead.

It’s a metal game... And that’s what you’ll get out of a 560, it’ll be the same on windows.

Oh cool! \m/.

But yeah, honestly though, even with a few deets turned off or down, it still looks great and runs fantastic. Super enjoyable game.

Quoting: bgh251f2I would believe that's because there's no clear way to know if a game bought on GOG is being played on Linux, so it would be hard to make the division of profits. The fact that there's no client can't be helping either.
You may very well be right on that one. I would be surprised though, if GOG didn't have some way of tracking it

I'd expect them to track downloads for games - the safest indicator there is (mostly). Someone who games on Linux or macOS isn't going to be downloading the Windows versions.

I might actually finish it now...

* gitlab
* gogs
* gitolite
In order of decreasing resource usage. (maybe more?)

And the very good fork of gogs called gitea (git with tea)

OpenGL to be deprecated in the next macOS release, could mean interesting things for Linux gaming

One thing everyone seems to be missing, which is also a good/bad thing; Apple have said nothing at all about when openGL will be removed - it could be in the next major version, or never.

Likely they will clarify that later once everything has shaken down and they've seen the damage scope.

If things go the bad way, I hope that moltenVK and moltenGL see an uptick in use.

If things go the good way, I still hope for the above.

Quote95% of the sales came from Windows users. This was despite Linux users arguing that lots would buy if a Linux version was made available.

This is a common theme it seems, yes lots argue for it, but come on, have a realistic expectation - it's not going to blow Windows out of the water regardless of how many argue for it.
