Quoting: zebWhat is different to Lutris?Lutris allows like I said custom wine spins to be downloaded or used via dropping them in a folder. It installs containers much like how steamplay works. Also it has advanced features under the hood to get around all the problems (most anyway) that people may face using wine.

If their going to support wine and proton they should make it easy to build custom containers for games and also to add in custom versions of wine much like how Lutris does it.
If Lutris and one of these launchers joined forces it would be amazing.

I don't think the 5700XT does anywhere near as good with proton,. But the handful of native stuff phoronix tests, sure.

Those results can be quite skewed however, really you need to look at it on a per game basis.

Quoting: ShmerlWhat's the point? 5700 XT already beats that. Higher end than that would be somewhere in 2080 territory already. This is false. I hear this allot but the 5700XT is around %10 slower at the very least!

I dont get the numbering, Navi 10 is higher end and Navi 14 is weaker, what?

Apparently NVIDIA will have their next series of cards out Q1 2020 so it will be interesting. Honestly the only reason to go NVIDIA is for the TOP END card performance at 4k, if your 1080p or 1440p gamer then there is absolutely no reason to only consider them, Intel and AMD are releasing middle end cards, there will be no top end.
I don't care what AMD says, by the time their big NAVI comes out its going to be way too late and cost WAY too much. That's how its been for quite some time now and I see no reason why it would change.
