Black screen issue, reminds me of Gaijins Warthunder Vulkan initiative, hehe. I wonder if this issue is consistent across all window managers compositors.

heard the game runs quite a bit better with proton vs native. Wish they move to vulkan in a future update.

Well having a simple raspberry PI to stream basic 60fps 1080p content might be possible, I suspect you'd need allot more power for 4k at 60fps!

Hopefully this streaming option is there to compliment native ran games and not as the main option for gaming.

grabbed it, looks interesting. While not as graphically impressive as XCOM, it does have allot of interesting stuff going on.
Interesting that its only 360MB or so, I guess without massive texture files then that sort of gamesize is possible.

You can often install anticheat software but actually playing it online is a different thing. ARMA3 will install Battleeye (via ingame prompt) but only works for 15mins in a multiplayer game then it freezes up the arma3.exe process.

And yeah Squad is early access and often they disable EAC/BE stuff. I was considering getting squad sometime down the line.

My guess is this is as an alternative to free form camera system which can be annoying at times. I prefer this iso mode then a camera that is just floating abouts doing whatever it wants.

Nice nice, I'd like to see them release a English voice addon to make things more immersive. If they do that then I'll buy it. (or even a mod that does it, I don't mind reading its just nice to have a break from the wall of text now and again.

Would like a status update on when we will see EAC and Battleye working correctly with proton.
