Enshrouded World, a Leadwerks-powered vehicular combat game has Linux support

They should have released the engine for free, and put some sort of royality on it if you game actually sells anything.

Not sure if leadworks is open-source, but to survive it would need to be!

This trailer looks like a 1998 game.

Mesa turning into the savior for Linux gaming, all we need now is RADV to be updated allot so it actually performs good in Vulkan, or AMD's closed Vulkan code, either all. OH and Freesync, which I guess won't happen until the DC driver release in kernel 4.13 or something.

Not sure howto get this on Manjaro, think I just have to wait a few days until someone tests it and pushes it as update.

Looks like Wine is on the DX11 home run now for support. Finally. Ironically we will probably see allot of games switch to Vulkan over the next year (including Bethesda ones) so VK will be used more under Wine for sure, lets hope DRM doesn't cockblock it however.

He clearly needs support as he can't even afford light-bulbs. Unfortunately I just spent $7k on a couple of kick-starter projects so that's it for KS2017, for me.

For people with allot of disposable income is my guess. That isn't me for sure, and probably never given how things have been going :(

But with the sale of old PC parts and stuff, I think I can manage a Ryzan 1600x + Rx Vega build in the future....I think 8k screens would need at least a 20tflop card for decent gaming performance, I'd be happy with a 4k OLED screen if those ever go down to decent price ranges...

Mad Max meets Vulkan in a new fully public beta for Linux, benchmarks and OpenGL vs Vulkan comparisons

I'd say Feral has been working on a Vulkan wrapper pretty well, otherwise we would have seen this on Windows already (normally such a thing comes out first).

I thought it ran pretty decent at 4k on my 980ti before, so this will be awesome. But honestly the game that needs Vulkan the most atm is Deus Ex, I have been holding out buying that until news of better performance hits! heres hoping..
