Yeah I have been using the app on and off with MechWarrior5 and am surprised at how well it works.
Only downside I can see is when in UI screens it can scribble for a split second when switching UI.

I would like to present your research project for the next week:Seemless Lossless Scaling app :) on steam. When you've finished researching it then explain why something like FSR3.1 can't be implemented system wide or on demand.

Quoting: CalinouThis needs per-game integration as both require motion vectors, so DXVK can't provide an universal solution for this.I use to think this way as well. But its not the case for some upscaling and frame gen technology.

Wonder if they can integrate FSR3.1 and framegen with dxvk sometime since its open-source. Would be a fantastic addition.

That's great. When a headset comes around that is worth my time and money to look at, this will come in handy.

I used MO2 in past and it was shaky for a while until it eventually got fixes in Wine and in its own code.
It's a mod manager that has passed hands also where the original author of MO1/2 went to Vortex (nexus) team. Not sure if he/she is behind the move to support Linux.
Really all that is needed is Wine/Proton game detection and the use of native Linux symlinking equivalents that are compatible with Wine. I think there are memory mapping equivalents also. Thought these days wine/proton do such things automagically as a translation layer windows support.
The success of this product will likely come down to PLUGIN support. The things that make magic happen.

Will anything dethrone the Steam Deck? Probably not

Valve Steam Deck:: So this is how you do it guys!
Other Vendors:: NO! removes features and makes them 2-3x the price!
Customers:: Just buying Steam Deck. Win.
Other Vendors:: Guys guys, look we make another 10 different expensive variants using windows, this is what you want right?!

Shame NVIDIA still can't figure out their frame generation tech for Linux driver. It quickly becoming the INFERIOR product which is hilarious because they lock it down to RTX40 series and classify it a premium feature. What is NVIDIA doing?

This driver looks all good, I'll give it a test sometime.
BUT PLEASE NVIDIA add in DLSS Frame Generation support, its really one of the last missing features outside of App/Software stuff.

Could it be DRM misbehaving by freaking out in the background. I think this game has its own extra DRM layer on top of steam doesn't it?

Really wish NVIDIA would introduce Frame Generation for their Linux drivers. I don't use it often but it be nice to be able to use it when it matters/useful.
