Quoting: Grogan
Quoting: Liam DaweThis is perfectly normal for quite literally any hardware. There’s really nothing to look deeper into.
I suppose so. It's the time frame that made me say that though, it doesn't seem that long ago that you'd be a lucky winner to be able to even get a Steam Deck.
The refurbs are also from cancelled or returned items that may not have even been opened up.
Not uncommon. I would be interesting to know the exact amount of refurbs available.

Oh btw still not sold in AU/NZ directly, you gotta buy through 3rd party which ads like $100 to the pricetag (no joke)

NVIDIA driver 535.98 now available for Linux

I've read it helps, but doesn't fix.
The issue is even present under Win11 in certain situations. Quite a weird desktop issue to have and could be made worse with multiple screens connected.

Oh, well it shouldn't be. That should be Silver.

Yeah bought it just before, take a while to download it.

I heard the vulkan renderer is broken and will crash continuously so be aware!

Better support for the launcher is really kind of needed as there is a flood of people on Linux who need to use all these workarounds to play the game meanwhile its set as GOLD on protondb... GOLD is not for workarounds people!

Ubisoft Connect broke again but Valve fixed it in Proton Experimental

Was the reason for the issue related to the launcher being updated against newer Windows API like apps? Often Microsoft pushes updates to their software tools which break compatibility with Linux.

For Honor from Ubisoft gets an anti-cheat update - now Playable on Steam Deck

60fps on steamdeck? pretty impressive for such a game.
Unfortunately I just don't like these types of games, give me Dragon Dogma 2 perhaps!

Tencent to get a majority stake in Dying Light dev Techland

Dying Light 2 was certainly not as good as it could have been, it did receive a fair bit of creative cuts over its development phase. No doubt mods will be restoring that game to original vision for a while to come.

Not so sure they should make any more zombie games since the world is being saturated with ZOMBIE games again... hope they move on to something else.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is Steam Deck Verified and out today

Might be stutters in areas where you transition levels since it was designed around much faster NVMe speeds (with special Sony compression on top which sped things up further)

Xenonauts 2 is looking good on desktop Linux and Steam Deck

This is a Early Access game so quite unfinished despite being in development for a VERY long time ( I think 8yrs )

Additionally its just a repaint in 3d of the original not a sequel. I'll pick it up when it releases and is %50 off.

I think the Steam Deck 2 could be the real ticket that brings more people in since SD1 was for the most part a market and tech test product (which was big success)
