Honestly they should have just announced a flat %5-10 charge free after a certain point like what EPIC etc does. This method of monetization is too convoluted. Also the its clear its all for the share holders..

I recently traded my 4090 for a 7900XTX+Money. NVIDIA 4090 was giving me all sorts of weird issues with my displays such as gamma flutter or blinking if you like, and this was under Windows AND Linux... I couldn't escape it.

No issues with the AMD card yet. Honestly NVIDIA is just TERRIBLE for driver support this year, of cause not all cards suffer these issues.

I'll be very interested in a Steam Deck 2 once it happens. But atm Steam Deck 1 is not even available to Australians except through 3rd party vendors whom seem to slap on their %10-30 tax and offer no Valve warranty!

Just because they don't have a Native Linux Launcher doesn't mean they are ANTI Linux.
Far from it. Also GOG Galaxy 2, after using it for a while under Windows, isn't all that great, not a huge loss if the API method works for most games (unsure about some like NMS).
