Looks too disgusting for me, but the graphics, lighting, and animation are the stuff we need on Linux shooters. Pretty much all of our shooter graphics are mediocre or poor.

I am still interested in Stadia even knowing the DRM lock, but logic asks me why since I own a 3DS, Switch, and PS4. Had the pricing model been more like Netflix or Spotify, then there would at least be something I don't already have. I think PlayStation Now makes more sense than Stadia at this point.

I got Rise to Ruins many months ago, maybe a year, based on high praise from readers here. I have it on itch.io. I have 18 hours of playtime on my desktop and 16 hours on my laptop. Each are playing their own worlds. I have not lost a village yet.
I played Rise to Ruins right after RimWorld. I put 24 hours into RimWorld and felt like I was done with it. Maybe I'll play it again someday(?). For now, it's uninstalled. In contrast, I know I'll play Rise to Ruins more. I liked RimWorld well enough. I wasn't disappointed with how long it entertained me. But Rise to Ruins is more charming and draws me back easier.
My next base building game? Probably Surviving Mars. Oxygen Not Included is a maybe.

With my WoW Classic buddies not available this weekend, maybe I'll give Dota 2 another try.

My wife has the Gazelle. We're happy with it but the key spacing is odd. She said that she's used to it, but I still don't like it I have to say. I like MacBook and Dell Latitude keyboards better.
Speaking about AMD laptops... are they good these days? I like AMD as a company, but I also don't dislike Intel. The last AMD laptop in my household was ten years ago, and it was bad. It was an HP something. Perhaps it was bad design around the chips, but that thing was pretty bad. It ran super hot, loud, and slow. It also had stability problems pretty quickly. We got rid of it after owning it for only about a year I think. So, anyway, that's the last taste of AMD in a laptop for me. Worth a taste again? I know AMD has been in gaming consoles many times.

Stellaris is such a joy for me to play. I'm really glad I braved the learning curve long ago and dragged my friends to follow. :) The only "problem" with Stellaris is you always end up playing until 02:00... doesn't matter what day it is. :D Before Stellaris, I had a decent sized dry-spell of strategy gaming, and I wondered if I still liked the genre as much as I used to. After putting 100 hours into Stellaris my first month of owning it, the answer was clear.

Games I want to try this on:
Salt & Sanctuary
CastleStorm
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
The Swords of Ditto
There are other games that never made it to my collection/wishlist because they were local-only multiplayer.
