Quoting: TheBardI'm very surprise by the comments, I've been playing the game for a while on Arch with the GOG versions. I never had any issue. Thanks for this comment because I was getting a bad impression. Looks like you have AMD GPU and razing has Nvidia. Sounds like there's a good chance it would work just dandy on my rig.

It would be fun to make a profile that knows when a browser is at facebook.com so that I could program my wife's computer fans to 100% whenever she's on it. :D

I'm going to sound like a snob here. The game did not look very fluid. It looked more like an old game, not a new game. :(
What have you been playing and what are your thoughts?

I played Rocket League a few nights this weekend with my buds that took advantage of the trial weekend. It was really a blast. I hadn't played in a long time, and it was fun to see my friends get better every match.
On the solo side, I chipped away a little at Pillars of Eternity. I'm about 10 hours into the game and feel like it's the very beginning. I made some mistakes that made fights very difficult and held me back. Now that I'm playing my class better and have more party members, it's going better and is more fun. I really enjoy the setting and dialogue as long as I'm relaxed enoughto read I mean play a slow-paced game. :) I find that I'm not always too eager to launch the game, but once I'm in and playing and reading a while, I usually don't want to quit. I am curious whether I will walk away from this game in the end liking it as much as Shadowrun: Dragonfall. We'll see. I'm still surprised how much I fancied that one and how fondly I think of it.
Ope, forgot to mention that I also played a decent bit of Stardew Valley with the kids. It was a very discontinuous experience this time since they wanted to play at different times, so I had to switch which character I played each time and repeat my progress. (I don't host a farm for them from my computer because I only sometimes play with them.)

I'm really happy to see Ubuntu and Nvidia making this change. It will be fantastic for those that don't want a rolling release distro but also want decent gaming without unnecessary hassle.

Quoting: ArehandoroGreat move. I hope Debian does a similar thing adding upstream or more up to date Mesa/Kernels too.Not Debian Stable, surely? Debian aims for stability. Not every distro aims for the same goals.
