Quoting: einherjarMakes no sense to buy, when it is not crossplattform multiplayer :-(
Drives are cheap. Buy one for your friend(s). Give them no excuses!
That's not really your opinion?!
Most of my friends don't want to use Linux. I will not get them on the nerves. I will just not buy this game...
BTW it is not a good marketing for Linux, to tell them what does not work.
It is my opinion. Why do you have to be the one to miss out or give in? Why can't they do you a favor sometimes and boot to Linux so they can play this game with you? Flip the table sometimes.
Linux to Linux works. I wouldn't say that's broken.

Sure, if your friends wouldn't ever consider doing you a favor and booting to a system they didn't prefer, then don't waste your money. My idea could work in other circles.

The downside to kid games is Steam. It's annoying for my kids and myself when Steam decides to forget your password and then they can't log in until I am available. If I can get over that, I might pick this game up someday. For now, my kids are occupied enough with the couple games they have. I don't need to introduce them to the idea of video game backlogs at this stage. I wish my game collection didn't cause me decision paralysis.

Quoting: GuestOh well, 30$ was already quite expensive for an indie game. I’ll wait for a sale on a DRM-free store.
I heard that the developer will "never" let it go on sale. Don't know if he'll live up to that.

*sigh* I might have to buy it before the price goes up. I want to just play Dwarf Fortress like an elitist, hardcore gamer nerd, but I haven't been able to make myself take a week-long video class to learn how to play.

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered is out on Steam with Linux support

Quoting: ageresI played the original game when it was new six years ago, but my HDD got broken before I finished it and I lost my save files. It's time to play again.
For you, I recommend using a remote backup service. Don't want to pay for a subscription? Then at least set up borg to back up to another drive on a schedule. :)

Always nice to see a developer come along and join the conversation...even has a cool avatar.

I'm very interested in this game. As someone who's completed the CEH course, games like this make me wonder if I'll have an advantage or disadvantage over the typical gamer.

I feel like it's more important to buy any remaining Obsidian games on my wish list DRM-free. *walks over to GOG*

First-person adventure about sunken Russian sub KURSK to have a delayed Linux release

Sounds intriguing enough to me, which is not typical of adventure games IMO.
