If anyone here works at a Fortune 500 company and you know they are using FOSS but aren't supporting it, there is a chance a company that large has a donation match program. You may be able to double your donation to a project that way.
Maybe the project needs to be filed as a 501C3 (in the US), so small software may not qualify, but it's worth looking into depending on what you feel like donating towards.

Only seconds in, and my ears tell me that guy must be German born. /random
EDIT: OK, around 4:30 into the video, he says his country is Sweden. Shucks.

Looks cool to try, but it won't launch for me. :(

The gameplay videos are really promising though, so this is a pretty sure purchase once it's a little further.

Quoting: AnzaI haven't been able to play the game with 22.3.1. I got it to launch once, but then my screen was constantly spinning and looking at the sky as if I had a controller plugged in with stuck analog sticks -- which was not the case.Quoting: 1xokCall me crazy. But it has a touch of Alien Isolation in it.I was thinking more of System Shock. There's bit of immersive sim vibe which does somewhat apply to Alien isolation too. There's bit more in there than just a simple keyhunt.
PS: for me Vulkan and Mesa 22.3.0 caused Xorg crashes. 22.2.3 seem to be fine.

I at first was turned off with the weapons and fighting, but if it has "flexible game rules," cool. Overall, looks irresistible.

Think of a $40 PC game back in the day when annual Expansion packs were $30.
And DLC is optional.
I don't understand being mad at options. Would you prefer a monthly subscription where you don't get to choose what you don't want to pay for?

Quoting: BlackBloodRumThis should be fun!You say you can buy 7 years' worth of DLC plus the base game for $162? You're complaining?
Including a 70% discount, Cities Skylines (https://store.steampowered.com/app/255710/Cities_Skylines/), released in 2015; currently stands at:
£6.89 for base or £8.99 or deluxe edition.
Okay, but we're not done yet!
Let's include the DLC!
The DLC, including numerous discounts: £162.07
So the "complete game" actually costs you £162.96 for base, or £171.06 for deluxe edition.
This is "discounted" on "sale". And they want to charge more? Greedy much?

I like that the graphics have advanced a little to look more like Graveyard Keeper's style.
I don't know that I'll pick up the sequel since I only play the first one on rare occasions, but I'll see what the price is. I also don't want it on Steam.
