Quoting: CyrilIs there any chance that it will be available DRM-Free, like on GOG, like some other recent Paradox games?
From what I've noticed, Paradox waits until their games are a little aged before releasing on GOG... not ancient, but no longer hot and fresh. Kinda sucks, but fair enough.

I watched the video before reading the article about it. I guess it's natural that I thought, "Huh, this makes me want to play Dungeons 3 for some reason." :) Cool that it's made by the same folks.

$50 feels kinda steep compared to other building / management games available. I'll have to see more gameplay and read some reviews for convincing. Maybe the campaign is really cool or something.

The blood is way over the top for me, but I still might get it for the fast pacing.

Quoting: NeoTheFoxWelp, I promised I bring my server up after the update, so stay tuned. Let's test if my hardware could take it..
I am tuned! OK, if you get a usable server running, please share creds! I was thinking of starting up a server and sharing the creds in a forum post here and hosting it as an event. That way, we can hopefully get a handful of people to start and play at the same time! Longevity of the server would depend on interest. The gist is I wouldn't set out to start a new club or something and try to get regulars. They just fall apart. But it would be fun to have like a game party.

Quoting: randylI wish they supported Steam then I could choose to use either the Proton Windows OS compat layer or the SLR Ubuntu OS container. It would make things so much easier.
I think the only dependency I had to install was mono.

A Short Hike, probably 2019's most chilled game gets a boating update

Quoting: GamewizardOh nice no lag between the Steam update and the Itch version as the Itch version all ready has a patch out. Pleasantly surprised by this as it's not uncommon for Itch versions of some games to not get update patches for a while after the update ships on Steam.
Yes, very nice since I'd rather buy a Linux game from itch than GOG. (I have A Short Hike on itch.) The itch client isn't perfect, but at least there is one. And it handles updates. Want to update your GOG games on Linux? You gotta browse your account on their website every now and then and check to see if there are any updates like the olden days of going to Fileplanet for patches. And when there are updates, you don't get to download a patch. You download the whole game over again. This issue is not solved by Lutris or minigalaxy. I'm repeating myself here, but, well, the problem isn't solved! So yeah, I'd rather buy a Linux game on itch than GOG when possible.

Pathfinder Kingmaker: Definitive Edition out now, adds in a free turn-based mode

A free and huge update? Sweet! I have the Enhanced edition but haven't started it yet. It's great to hear the bug fixes were applied to previous customers.

One of my friends enjoyed the game and said it was probably "better" than Pillars of Eternity. I think I recall him complaining of bugs back at release, but I did not hear anything negative when I asked him about the game recently. I'm looking forward to getting started.

Wow, great detail in the comments. Nice! It's really nice to get that kind of info here.

I've had the game for a couple years now but did not enjoy it much long ago. I've been waiting for it to bake in the oven since then.
