Looks beautiful. Great work on the imaginative art and fluid animation.

They added a team member to focus on GOG? That makes GOG sound like a screwy release process. Maybe the new hire is a temp.

The game looks really fun and interesting, maybe even exciting at points. But I am torn on the graphics style. I don't think I like the low poly and low color variance going on when zoomed in and working on the details. It looks... unfinished? On the flip side, when zoomed out (in the trailer), it looks very neat! Somehow, the shadows and simpler colors are appealing at that vantage point. That's just my aesthetics feedback. Overall, the gameplay and the price look great.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI keep hoping they've got some kind of Big Plan that will eventually, when the stars align properly, usher in the forever-awaited Year of the Linux Desktop (TM)If that ever happens, you know the "elite" will turn to telling people off because they're using the "wrong" distro or window manager. Linux won't be anti-cool _enough_ on its own anymore.

That's a bummer. It would also be a bummer to have a game made worse 3 years after you bought. That's one potential downside to games-as-a-service like we have these days.

Intel's dedicated gaming GPU releases in 2021, plus 10nm SuperFin is coming

My hunch is the discrete GPU thing is for data scientists and data centers to be rented out for computing power. The gaming one is a market trial. I will say that I would not be opposed to purchasing a gaming GPU made by Intel if the drivers were open and the price:performance was competitive enough.

Quoting: EhvisOne of my top games. Started seriously playing it after the 0.17 release and quickly running up to 300 hours now. Still trying to get good though. :grin:I would bet that the Steam version is also DRM-free. Not everything sold and distributed by Steam uses their DRM.
The only discount you can get is the Humble Choice discount on the humble store.
Also important, it's available DRM free on their website. And if you register on their website and link your Steam account, you also get the DRM free version.
Cool news about the game. I didn't even know it wasn't released yet. Ha.

Looks fun. And I have to say the idea of building + dungeon play is not a far cry from Minecraft gameplay.
