Stadia Pro now has 17 games to redeem, with Elder Scrolls Online soon

Stadia is a hard sell to me so far. I played some Destiny 2 on it and it felt good. The quality didn't look any better than my PS4 though. It had a tiny blur look to it that I'm used to PS4 games having. But it was good overall. Since I do have a PS4, it would take a new game that I don't already own to come out on Stadia and look and feel better than the PS4 version (assuming it didn't run on Linux). That situation would have to continue happening over and over long enough that I stop upgrading my PC and console hardware because Stadia meets my performance and quality standards. And that's ignoring the fear of the service getting shut down after 3 years or so and losing all the games you bought, just like we've seen with always-online games that get shut down and have no offline/LAN capability. Again, the tech is neat and it works. It needs to be better than what I already have.

Pretty cool to see and a happy surprise to see EA do it.

Is it worth getting if I already have Human Fall Flat?

I'm pretty happy to see this. More industry support means more pressure for my company to support Linux desktops as well. :)

Linux Mint votes no on Snap packages, APT to block snapd installs

I don't know where I stand on snaps, but I do like that Mint is making another step to make themselves distinct from Ubuntu. I'm not saying I hate Ubuntu either. I just like choice. But I don't like when you have 20 options and each of them are barely different at all.

I don't understand how this game has MP, at least GOG says it does.

Factorio to release early in August to avoid Cyberpunk 2077

Quoting: randylCongrats to Wube. It's a smart decision. Even if everyone isn't playing CP2077, all of the media buzz will be around it. Personally, I think they should have waited until a month after that release when the buzz starts to die down. Like Witcher 3, I think CP2077 has been vastly overhyped and overrated. My guess is that it will be more flash and "edge" than substance (like TW3) and meatier games like Factorio will have a longer stronger appeal. But that's an easy call to make from my office chair. :P
That's got to be a minority opinion there. I rate TW3 as probably the best game made to date on any platform. Saying Factorio is meatier just means the artful side of your brain doesn't like to be entertained that much.
We can agree on one thing, that my opinion about TW series is in the minority.

I see you had to make a personal attack on my ability to appreciate art as a way to undermine my opinion rather than give reasons why you think TW3 is clearly superior above its peers. Does that mean you have nothing of merit to offer the conversation or were maybe just too lazy to write out something thoughtful?

So, why do you consider TW3 "the best game made to date on any platform"? Because that's a strong claim and I think you would be in the minority with that opinion. It's one thing to say TW3 is overrated and another to claim it's the best game ever made on any platform with absolutely no support for that argument.

My artful side does enjoy being entertained, just not by overrated mediocre titles popular with the masses. I'm not a huge fan of Fortnite or Justin Bieber either. Art appreciation is a matter of taste and preference.
No, I did not attack any of your abilities as you say. I pointed out what I observed of your preference.

Writing a convincing argument about TW3 is missing the point. The point was that I suspected your opinion of TW3 to be in the minority and that I disagreed with it. It was not to change your mind.

Huh, I thought this game was claimed to stay in Early Access forever. I must be thinking of a different game...? Anyway, I'm not sure what "released" even means for me in this game if they still have changes planned.

I'm interested to give it a try but not enough to mess around. I will wait for it to feel smooth out of the box.
