How’s the performance on the native version? Some people had better performance in the past with the Windows version running Proton + D9VK.

This is why so many people are cautious about Chinese money being used in American companies.

A Chinese company (Tencent) owns so much of Epic Games right now, but Sweeney still holds the majority. But what happens if he leaves or dies? I’m guessing his shares go to Tencent.

Besides the lack of Linux support on Epic Games Store, I don’t want to spend real money on that platform due to multiple shady businesses practices. I tend to lean towards GOG these days instead.

The number of threads used for pipeline compilation was tweaked this time too, hopefully reducing the performance impact on those with 6/8 core CPUs while also allowing CPUs with more than 12 cores to scale it up a bit. You can customize it with the dxvk.numCompilerThreads option.
Is this also available as a launch option?

I'm never going to support them by buying the Windows version and attempting to play on Proton. No one seems to be playing this game anyways, so screw them.

Quoting: t3gI heard that the native version has FPS issues and you get better performance by installing the Windows version with Proton and D9VK.
Last time I tried native with Xen update it didn't work at all. I did try briefly d9vk and that seems to run really well. I've been waiting for the entire project to be complete before I started my play through.
I was basing it off of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V58bfGoOWTo [External Link] and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRkTzrPnvXs [External Link]
