Just fucking implement Vulkan already! So sick of DirectX 12 to OpenGL ports (like this one) that makes our OS of choice look like shit. Both Aspyr and Feral need to step their game.
Turns out that 'River City Ransom: Underground' will see day-1 Linux support (updated)

This series is kinda garbage, with the original being the better game. I have no interest in the sequel (even when I played the original), so not having on GNU/Linux is fine with me.

I haven't gotten a survey in over a year now. Why is Valve still basing this on a rare survey and not actual login and usage stats?
It hurts us and it hurts Valve too when it makes our platform look weak and on life support.

Valve should release the source code under a free software license as they are already piggybacking on top of Debian, which is FLOSS. It doesn't really hurt them to have open drivers available for everyone.

Quoting: CreakThe rest is mainly Sony with its PS4. That's why Nintendo announcing they're supporting Vulkan just isn't enough. But if Sony announces it, it might change the situation. It would be awesome if Sony added Vulkan support to the PS4 or the PS5 and above. The PS4 is still killing the Xbox One in market share (even if the XO has outsold the PS4 in the past few months) and having Sony in the Vulkan camp would be beneficial.

If AAA developers and publishers bring their game to the Switch and are forced to learn and use Vulkan, it is a huge benefit for everyone as they may use Vulkan for their PC releases too.
