Silly question, but the libvulkan1-dev [External Link] package on Ubuntu is the same one you used for Debian right?

Who actually did the port? Was it a friend of the developer for which they offered a 6 pack of beer and hoped for the best?

If only they used Ethan Lee and his FNA: https://fna-xna.github.io/download/ [External Link]
Some have suggested updating libraries in games with issues with the ones from his fnalibs.tar.bz2 archive.

Maybe you guys can help me. I have the 64-bit version of Ubuntu 16.04 installed and I currently use the 367 series of drivers for my Nvidia GTX 970. I also made sure libstdc++6:i386, libopenal1:i386, and libc6:i386 were installed via apt according to the documenation. But when I copied the game to my secondary hard drive (where I keep my games) and start the game via ./daikatana I get this:
Is this something I need to symlink with the libGL version of my Nvidia drivers or something? Everything else seems to be setup besides this. Thanks!
EDIT: I had to also install the libxrender1:i386 and libltdl7:i386 packages to get the game running without errors. I should be good now. :D

Getting the GOG version of a game is always the best way for these types of workarounds as they are DRM free and you can easily download the .exe as-is for your GOG account. No Steam run times or extra stuff added to the executable.

Has anyone tried the Python bindings from https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyVulkan [External Link]?
I'm a big fan of Python, but if I am doing something serious with Vulkan, maybe C is still the way to go with it being low level.

I picked it up on Humble Bundle (DRM free download and Steam key) today after waiting a while for the port. I also registered the game on Steam in GNU/Linux to hopefully send some money towards Cheese''s way for the port. Thanks for helping in getting it out! :D

These anti-Linux and pro Windows trolls make no sense. They are defending a closed OS made by a mega corporation and that corporation doesn't care about you. What did Ubuntu or Debian or Arch do to offend this person so much? Shouldn't having your game on more platforms be the end goal?
The GNU/Linux distros offer software freedom and choice. You can use whatever desktop you want in addition to the distro. Heck, you can go 100% free software with something like Trisquel [External Link] if you choose. Having more control over your computing is a good thing!
