I have the Samsung HP Odysee+ and HP Reverb G2 and while they are great, I hate having to deal with the wires for USB and DisplayPort/HDMI. I'm ready to go wireless!

After getting a Steam Deck, it is inconvenient to run GOG games even if they are installed via Lutris/Bottles. I have no problem on the desktop but for handheld, the extra step isn't fun.

Quoting: damarrinThat version bump is brutal, these are really recent drivers.
Out of curiosity, does Pop have these drivers right now?
IDK about Mesa, but it does have the 510 driver.
Ubuntu 22.04 ships with Mesa 22 and so does Pop 22.04.

I’ve looked into these mini PCs before (System76) and it’s hard to justify when a Steam Deck is more powerful and cheaper if I want to go into desktop mode.

Quoting: pete910And this is why I don't like this relyance we are heading for on wine/proton !

Native FTW !
The era of native Linux games is kinda dead. Most Linux native games I play are abandoned by the developer, have issues running due to some libc error, or have issues with game controllers. When's the last time Feral released a AAA game that wasn't some silly RTS?

If I run it in Proton, I don't have to deal with that and Proton performance is generally better.
