As much as I like Tim Schafer, or his studio, we can't deny that he is a bit of a Judas and would sell his soul to the highest bidder without contemplation whatsoever. Which actually he just did to Microsoft so it shouldn't surprise me, yet still annoying.
I guess Psychonauts 2 will be the last game I buy from them.

Quoting: MohandevirIn that regard it would not be much different than if Valve stops supporting Steam. Aside of the games that can be played outside of the client, all the rest would be just digital garbage.Quoting: EhvisIf Stadia stops supporting itOr you meant if Google stops supporting Stadia? Well... Just like in the old days, when a PS, PS2 broke down and you couldn't buy an new one. Game Library gone. The PC gamers are lucky, in that aspect.

The announcement of Baldur's Gate 3 made me think I could give Stadia a go and try it out. Now that I know it will be released on Steam, and potentially GOG, I rather wait and get it via normal means.

Quoting: ArehandoroQuoting: dpanterI also thought that but Coteries of New York is being developed/published by Draw Distance whereas The Masquerade is being made by Big Bad Wolf, which confused me a bit haha. The more the merrier, I suppose.Quoting: ArehandoroVampire: Masquerade Coteries of New York.I thought these two were the same one... but I guess we'll see. I won't mind another. :)
Edit: Narrative RPG based on "Vampire: The Masquerade"
Kind of irritating that the devs/pubs refuse to share any details as to what kind of games these are. Some sort of interactive novels seems to be the general impression at the moment, a Telltale Games-esque experience perhaps?
Quoting: dpanterIt also appears that BigBadWolf/BigBen is working on yet another title set in the World Of Darkness, namely Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood intended for 2020 release. What the frick is going on here! :woot:Yay!

Quoting: monnefInteresting device, for my taste way too pricey. For a while I was thinking about GDWin (or how it was called), but IIRC it didn't have official Linux support, so I stopped following it. I am saving for Index currently and since I don't go out much, Index will have much better value for me.Apologies, that was some poor wording on my side. What I meant is not that they are selling the console on a loss, but that their main revenue are the games. Something that the Smach Z can't do.
Quoting: Arehandoro...Switch, which partly is also being fund with software salesI don't believe this is true:
Nintendo CEO says company won't make loss by selling it; but also listening to what consumers expect from us when setting price.source: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/10/nintendo_switch_wont_be_sold_at_a_loss_two_million_units_to_ship_in_time_for_march [External Link]
I am also pretty sure they said that even with some planned discount (Christmas?) they still won't be losing money on the device.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPIn my universe. I, and most of my friends, always wanted to play our PC games on the go. Or in the bed like some people have mentioned already.Quoting: ArehandoroIdea: For a long time PC users have wanted to play like console users. In which universe, please? And what is "like console users" :D ?
People who want to play on a console, they have a console.
People who want to plan on a PC, they have a PC.
People who want both, well, those with money have both, and the others are obviously not the target audience ;)
