Beneath a steel sky already has a native build on steam

For everyone saying "why are people only playing indie games"
It's because Playing the Witcher 3 (at high settings) gets you <2h battery life. India games can get you >5h.
That's quite impactful. I have a desktop and a Deck. So I deliberately play indie stuff on the Deck to maximize battery, and mostly play the AAA stuff on my desktop where power consumption doesn't matter as much.
If an improved Deck came out that could do >6h on AA games, I'd play them, but 2h of battery life isn't that compelling.

The Steam game page doesn't mention Linux support.
I'm always confused when Linux is listed. Does this mean a native port, or are they just saying it will work with Proton

No Man's Sky got a huge 'Outlaws' update and works well on Steam Deck

Quoting: Quill
Quoting: ExpandingManHello Games really does not want me to uninstall this game.
The game is full of bugs. Disappearing buildings in my base, spontaneous terraforming and constant loosing of hours of progress (sever issues?) made the otherwise great game unplayable for me (I played vanilla, Sentinel war).

On easy difficulty it is great fun, but do not try to struggle in the survival mode or even the hardcore.
The game rules on higher difficulty are way better, but the bug bites are much more itchy...

Wait for the discount and you could be totally happy.
I wonder how many linux games also have a console. I'm always stuck deciding whether to get something on Steam or PS4/PS5.
No Man's Sky is highly regarded on PS5. Are your bugs related to the Steam version, or Steam via Proton?

Humble have a Stand with Ukraine Bundle with 100% going to charity

Quoting: fenglengshunKinda wanted to donate at first, then I saw that starting amount is $40 and it has less everything in terms of quantity and things that interest me compared to itch's, which I've already paid for. Much as I want to donate, I'll have to skip - that minimal amount is too much for me and even if I earmarked next month's discretionary spending, I can't really justify it with that kind of contents (mainly because itch's was just much better).

They really are a shell of their former self at this point. Even with this big of a bundle and for 100% charity, it's just... mediocre for what they're asking.
1, it's for charity, and 2, even if the games are worse, many would prefer steam keys.
I get my Steam Deck on Monday, so the steam keys are worth far more than any other PC key or even DRM-free download.

There's currently no voice acting, but will be in a future update. To me, high quality voice acting is an integral part of point and click adventure games. I'll wait to see how that turns out. Maybe I'll play it next Christmas.

I bet Google is proud of themselves that they initially pressured hardware manufacturers to make devices with 32GB of storage..... That's going to let you install Tetris and Pacman :)

If this happens, and it takes off, there will be an incentive for developers to release native games. Native should have better performance, and, more importantly, better power efficiency.

Manjaro Linux 20.2 'Nibia' is out now

Quoting: TheRiddickI was not able to get past a black screen with my 6800XT card. So while they say it supports NAVI-2, it doesn't in my case.

I tried wayland for Plasma, and well, it was terrible. Programs failed to launch, top title bars didn't render correctly, etc... Mind you this was on Pop!_OS, I want to go back to arch linux but atm no install media will work with NAVI so maybe I'll wait until next point release.
Hey, the 6800 needs Kernel 5.10.
I have one. Just install Linux-mainline from AUR
