Quoting: lucifertdark(...) Would I be missing a lot with only the base game of Tropico 5?
I played only the base game without DLCs, completed the campaign and it was really fun. DLCs are purely optional.

This time around, Limbic Entertainment will be developing the game, who previously worked on a Might & Magic title.
It's actually a HoMM game, the title confusion comes from the Ubisoft manipulating with the title ;)

Parsec is another game streaming service, now with Linux support and it's blown me away

Quoting: km3k
Quoting: hardpenguinI still hope for a service like OnLive, where I wouldn't even know if the games are being ran on Windows or any kind of console.

Yeah this is more what I'd like to see. I get that this won't work for everything due to latency, but it could work for a lot of things, especially for trying out games. I'd like to see a service where you can essentially rent out an instance of a game running on whatever hardware/OS and pay by the month, day or hour to stream it to a Linux box.

I've been contemplating looking at getting Playstation Now running in Wine once it supports PS4 games later this year instead of buying a PS4 and games, but I don't like that it only lets you pay by the month. Due to my limited time for games, I'd much prefer hourly or daily pricing.
Fun fact: Sony bought assets, patents and employees of two companies serving the best cloud gaming services: Gaikai and OnLive. Playstation Now was very likely built upon these. What a waste...

Geneshift, the brutal top-down shooter with vehicles has released into Early Access

On my first attempt to play the game, hitting start on the campaign ended up sending me right back to the desktop. So I did not get off to a good start at all. I tried again, same result. This is repeatable every time.

Sadly, the online multiplayer right now seems broken for me as well. Clicking Multiplayer makes the game instantly freeze, with no option but to kill it. This is repeatable also for me, every single time.
Works alright to me. I blame Arch Linux or whatever you use :D

Absolver, a combat game with RPG elements, won’t have Linux support at launch

Alright, finally an answer! It's understandable that they prefer to focus on big platforms first. I only hope that they will do Linux at some point!

That way they will be able to give it a second life as the amount of players online was slowly, but steadily in decline.

I definitely recommend the game to everyone!

Ashes of the Singularity almost has Vulkan ready, doesn't have Linux on the radar right now

Quoting: LeopardTo the all developers ; if you don't support Linux ,of course our base won't grow.

Main problem is ; they want to push only Windows for not to spend time with learning new things and platforms. They're totally cool with possible MS lockdown because they will keep earning pennies ; who cares?
To all the Linux users:

Gamedevs (mostly) don't care. They are not releasing software to push a platform. They are releasing software to earn money.
To the some Linux users who doesn't understand:

We are saying that not supporting Linux builds or not intending to support it anytime and then ,making an excuse of 'Linux is not viable' is just ridiculous.
Because it is not viable. And it is not in gamedevs interest to make it so. The world doesn't revolve around Linux, it's that simple.
